Angel's Envy Bourbon

Angel's Envy Bourbon....$47.99
Compare to $49.99 at Total Wine and More

“A beautiful, mouthwatering newcomer to the whiskey scene. Named for the “angel’s share,” the portion that evaporates from the barrel during the aging process, this golden amber spirit is finished in Port barrels, which explains those juicy red-fruit notes that slide into the long finish. Look for orange peel, vanilla and roasted nut flavors, too.”
Rated 98/100 The Wine Enthusiast

What’s So Sinful about Envy?
Created by Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson, Angel’s Envy is worth coveting. Aged up to 6 years in charred white oak barrels and finished in ruby port wine casks, Angel’s Envy is an artisan’s masterpiece unlike any other bourbon.

Even after being named a “Living Legend” by Wine and Spirits Magazine, Lincoln wasn’t content to rest on his laurels. He was always a malcontent. But then, you don’t spend 40 years defining the spirits industry and earn an inaugural spot in the Bourbon Hall of Fame without a few unconventional ideas. Angel’s Envy was his last, great endeavor.

Angel’s Envy is what happens when 200 years of tradition meet an independent master craftsman’s instinct to improve. It’s a total return to craft first, hand-blended batches of 8 to 12 barrels at a time. Our bourbon starts with the finest local ingredients distilled in micro-batches and aged in American oak. We personally taste every barrel throughout each step to ensure that the spirit meets Lincoln’s malcontent legacy.

This would be enough for any other premium bourbon, but Lincoln had other ideas for his creation. That’s why we finish every batch in ruby port wine casks. There’s no set time for the process. It’s only Angel’s Envy when we say it is. The ruby port wine finish adds subtle nuance without ruining the integrity of the bourbon. The end result is a rich, exceptionally smooth and rare bourbon. Sin aside, we work every day to inspire envy, even if it takes a little longer.

Agostino Familia

Agostino Familia has fast become one of our favorite wineries!
The wines are not cheap, but they are still fantastic values.  They taste like they should be twice the price!

This wine competes with top White Bordeaux wines!

2015 Agostino Familia Semillon / Sauvignon...$25.99
A blend of 80% Semillon (aged in oak) and 20% Sauvignon Blanc (aged in tank), the 2015 Semillon - Sauvignon Blanc offers a brilliant, ripe, sexy, medium to full-bodied style that’s reminiscent of a top Bordeaux Blanc. With lots of caramelized citrus, brioche, lemon curd, and floral aromas and flavors, it’s beautifully balanced and one serious white. It’s going to shine on the dinner table for at least 4-5 years, and I certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see it keep longer.

2013 Agostino Familia de la Cava...$29.99
Made from 50% Malbec and 25% each of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 20 months in 70% new French and American oak, the 2013 De La Cava is straight up terrific, and one of the standouts in this report. Crème de cassis, licorice, smoked herbs and graphite all give way to a full-bodied, concentrated, voluptuous, yet incredibly well balanced 2013 that has a stacked mid-palate, ripe, sweet tannin and a great finish. This down right tour de force is a smoking value, even at over 40 dollars.

Reissdorf Kolsch

Cans back in stock!!!

Reissdorf Kolsch...$13.99 / 4pk pint cans
Light bodied blond ale Kolsch
4.8% ABV
The town of Cologne, the namesake for Koelsch, not only has more breweries than any other city in the world, but also has a federal law protecting its right to brew this pale, top-fermenting ale (appellation controlee). Koelsch, which has been brewed in Cologne and outlying areas since before 1300, furthermore has a brewers guild (founded in 1396) that mandates certain parameters for its brewing and protects the appellation worldwide.

Koelsch is typically lighter even than Pilsner in color and is often around 5% ABV with a slightly malty, fairly soft palate. The finish is decidedly dry due to its high attenuation and firm hop character. The cleanness is a result of a fairly long, cold maturation of two to six weeks.

These days Reissdorf Koelsch has almost reached a "cult status" with beer connoisseurs around the world looking at it as a "well preserved secret". Top fermentation lasts for about eight days with another four weeks of cold conditioning following. "Reissdorf Koelsch" is designed to be pale of color, soft on the palate, restrained on fruitiness, with a delicate dryness in the finish. "Reissdorf Koelsch" is a "session style" beer served in its typical 7 oz. glass in the wee-hours after work.

Off Color Brewing

Off Color Beer For Golf...$9.99 / 4pk 16oz cans
Wit style beer with lemon and black tea.

TASTING NOTES:  This classic wheat beer tees up with fresh lemon and nutty black tea aromatics. The mid palate is augmented with sparkling lemon freshness combined with bright acidity. Black tea contributes a mild tannic finish leaving you thirsting for another 9.
SECRET TECHNIQUE:  Using loose leaf black tea, we make cold brewed black tea concentrate in our brew kettle then add hot steeped tea to extract a limited amount of tannins. This tea is blend into the beer post fermentation to maintain the finer aromatics of the tea. The final beer blend contains an equivalent of 35% full strength iced tea.
INGREDIENTS:  Pilsner malt, flaked wheat, wheat malt, flaked oats, honey malt, coriander, lemon peel, black tea, Meyer lemon juice, citric acid, hops, and water

Off Color Beer for Ball Games...$8.99 / 4pk 16oz cans
American Style Cream Ale
While most of our Beers for Stuff are inspired by things that are not beer, we could not imagine quaffing anything but a light bodied but flavorful brew watching nine innings from the bleacher section. This American style cream ale features a light malt character with flavors of corn flakes cereal. A light hop aroma contributes nuanced floral, pepper, and grapefruit rind notes. Bread notes from yeast left in the beer rounds out the mouthfeel.
SECRET TECHNIQUES:  As one of the first styles of beer actually conceived in the United States (in the mid-1800s), our cream ale is designed to make America’s pastime proud by using only American produced malt and corn with classical American hops (Cascade and Willamette). We even use the best American water (sorry Fiji).
INGREDIENTS:  2-Row, Flaked Barley, Caramel Malt, Dextrin Malt, Flaked Corn, Nugget hops, Willamette Hops, Cascade Hops, Kolsch yeast, water

Main & Mill Dragon Punch • Sour w/ Acai, Blueberries, Pineapple...$11.99 / 4pk
Dragon Punch - 5.5% - sour brewed with Acai, Blueberries, and Pineapples
Dragon Punch is the newest in our Artist Series, a true collaboration with artists far and wide. We turn the tables and brew what we feel compliments the label rather than having a label completed to help define the beer.
Iyane Kane from Paris, France knocked out his second label in a series inspired by his love of Street Fighter. With the super bright and colorful look of our main character, along with the purple like tint of his karate (robe), we immediately were drawn to the dark and antioxidant rich açaí and blueberry with pineapple added for an extra fun touch. The fruits gave the beer a deep red color and a vibrant berry aroma...a perfect drink after a long day at the dojo.

Iyane Kane is an illustrator based in Paris, France. Passionate about comics, video games and american culture from a young age, he realized a dream by attending the Kubert School in 2008-2011. Since then, he went back to his hometown where he did commissions and illustrations alongside a more regular work. As of now, he’s working on getting his first comic book published in his home country.

Main & Mill Urban Warrior • Sour w/ Sour Patch Kids....$11.99 / 4pk cans

Urban Warrior - 8% - sour brewed with blueberry, lemon, lime, and cherry Sour Patch Kids candies.
Urban Warrior is the newest in our Artist Series, a true collaboration with artists far and wide. We turn the tables and brew what we feel compliments the label rather than having a label completed to help define the beer.

This particular awesome label came from Iyane Kane from Paris, France and was inspired by his love of Street Fighter. Considering Iyane’s amazing arcade scene, we thought few things go better with those long arcade days than far more candy than one should have in a day…so with that in mind, we created our very first beer that brewed with actual candy. We took a kettle sour and loaded with over 260 pounds of actual Sour Patch Kids melted down into one of the best tasting liquids we’ve had, then added the intense candy syrup to the fermenting beer. The final result pours a somewhat hazy aqua blue/green and has a very pronounced Sour Patch aroma before leading to a nice candy like profile while maintaining the qualities that make it a beer. We feel the color and the beer itself helps to paint Iyane’s picture of those nostalgic days working hard to get your name on the top score board.

A variety you don't see stand on its own very often, the 2017 Petit Verdot Paraje Altamira is 100% Petit Verdot that spent 15 months in a mix of French and American oak barrels. Its deep purple color is followed by a terrific bouquet of black and blue fruits, asphalt, licorice, leafy herbs, and smoked earth. With good freshness, medium to full body, ripe tannin, and a clean finish, it's a beautiful wine that, I suspect, will keep for upwards of a decade.

Fresh and medium-bodied, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon boasts pure cassis aromas, a silky texture and hints of mocha on the finish. It's a terrific value for Cabernet Sauvignon—as long as you're happy paying for quality wine and not a fancy appellation.

2018 Leaping Horse Merlot....$9.99
6 time Best Buy in The Wine Enthusiast
Forget that is Merlot, this wine is a fantastic red wine that will shock you with its quality. Merlot is one of the classic varietals with its roots in Bordeaux (did you know that Petrus is made from 100% Merlot and is one of the most sought after and expensive wines in the world) It’s complex, fresh fruit flavors and smooth finish still make it a favorite for many red wine drinkers. Straight-forward in style, the Leaping Horse Merlot has violet and dark fruit aromas with pleasant plum, black cherry and a finish that seems to last forever. Mouth filling yet smooth, Leaping Horse has created an unpretentious wine that can pair with just about anything. Merlot is a very versatile red that works well with many types of meats. Try ours with roast turkey or chicken, grilled blackened salmon, meat sauced pasta dishes, pork, grilled vegetables or a steak salad.
