Abita Mardi Gras Bock...$10.99 / 6pk bottles
Mardi Gras Bock
Mardi Gras Bock is the first of our seasonal brews. Abita Mardi Gras Bock is brewed with pale, pilsner and caramel malts and German Perle hops. Our bock is similar to German maibocks with its rich malt flavor and full body. A perfect choice during Carnival season in New Orleans. Gruyére, Emmental and Swiss are nice cheese choices with Bock. Great with roasted beef or pork. Try it with Mexican food, too.
Abita Purple Haze Raspberry Lager....$9.99 / 6pk cans
Purple Haze is a lager brewed with real raspberries added after filtration. It is brewed with pilsner and wheat malts and Vanguard hops. The berries add a fruity aroma, tartly sweet taste and a subtle purple color and haze...you may see fruit pulp in the beer. This beer is best served with salads or light fruit desserts, such as soufflés or chiffon cakes. Many people enjoy it with chocolate desserts. Purple Haze pairs well with certain cheeses, such as ripened Brie or any dessert made with mascarpone. It’s also great paired with entrees prepared with fruit, especially citrus. Consider enjoying Purple Haze alone at the end of your meal as dessert.

Abita Amber Lager....$9.99 / 6pk cans
Amber Lager is a Munich style lager brewed with pale and caramel malts and German Perle hops. It has a smooth, malty, slightly caramel flavor and a rich amber color. Abita Amber was the first beer offered by the brewery and continues to be our leading seller. Amber Lager is Abita’s most versatile beer for pairing with food. It has been voted "best beer" in numerous New Orleans reader polls and is used frequently in recipes of great Louisiana chefs.

We have Abita Beers in stock, Herbsaint and Peychaud bitters.
We have a great rye selection to choose from also.

Official recipe from Sazerac's website
Sazerac Cocktail
  • 1 Cube Sugar
  • 1 1/2 ounces of Rye Whiskey (plenty of great rye in stock, unfortunately we cannot get Sazerac Rye)
  • 1/4 ounce of Herbsaint  (in stock)
  • 3 dashes of Peychaud's Bitters  (in stock)
  • lemon peel

Pack an Old-Fashioned glass with ice.
In a second Old-Fashioned glass place the sugar cube and add the Peychaud's Bitters to it, then crush the sugar cube.
Add the Whiskey to the second glass containing the Peychaud's Bitters and sugar.
Empty the ice from the first class and coat the glass with the Herbsaint, then discard the remaining Herbsaint.
Empty the whiskey/bitters/sugar mixture from the second glass into the first glass and garnish with lemon peel

(unfortunately we cannot get Sazerac Rye to offer to make this drink)
