Sure, it’s a pumpkin beer so it tastes a lot like everything else that is pumpkin spiced. But Pumpkin Beer for Cafés gains a sweet, nutty, and earthy twist from cold brewed red rooibos tea and vanilla beans in an already chewy base beer heavy in unmalted grain.
To maintain as much of the aromatics as possible from the spices and tea, we only heat them to pasteurization before steeping them in final beer. The highly volatile aromatics easily escape with extended heating times or hot side brewing additions which make the brewery smell great but take away from the beer. Because everyone loves warming pumpkin spice 6 weeks a year!
