Double IPA – The river life chose you!!
Kaw River Roller is a tasty, west coast style Double IPA. A hefty grain bill and copious bittering and aroma hops bring this beer to a substantial 8.3% ABV and 75 IBU. We dry hop our Double IPA at over a pound and a half per barrel using traditional American hops to bring flavors of lemon and orange zest, pine and spice. A smooth, golden malt backbone carries you on down the river.

Features two new-school hops with Galaxy and Mosaic. Galaxy and Mosaic hops are insanely popular (and expensive) amongst hazy IPA brewers. Fields & Ivy Brewery’s Skeleton Theory IPA series is based on an isomorphic grain bill designed as a hazy IPA with ample haze elements and 2-row barley base malt. That’s the skeleton. We then construct each unique beer in our Skeleton Theory series by double dry-hopping with a unique, modern or experimental hop or combination of hops to deliver a heavy dose of the aromatic compounds that these hops are known to produce

Fields & Ivy’s American Lager is made with European barley malt and hops plus, locally grown, Silvermine heirloom corn. Silvermine – a white dent corn – was developed in the 1880s and refined by Mr. Ernest W. Young of Lawrence, Kansas in 1907.
