In 2013, we traded used 1-year-old, 15 gallon barrels with 2nd Shift Brewery. They made a delicious stout beer and gave us the barrel back. We put our one-year-old whiskey back into that barrel. A tradition was born. We knew we wanted to collaborate with our numerous brewer friends. While the brewery and stout may change from each release, the end result is always the same: a rich, full-bodied stouted whiskey.
