Wine & Cheese Place: Curbside and Delivery Only + New Hours + Enhanced Sanitization Procedures

Dear Friend of The Wine & Cheese Place and Fellow St. Louisan,

Our stores are open during the stay at home order.  However, we are taking the following precautions:
1.     Service will be delivery and curbside only.  You can order online for delivery or curbside pickup.  You can call from home as well.  Lastly, you can park in front of the store, call us, and we will fulfill your order while you wait.  Details here: http://bit.ly/TWCPstl
2.     Store hours are being reduced. Our new operating hours are 11:00AM to 7:00PM Mon through Saturday at all four stores.  As we have a Sunday license in The City of Clayton, the Forsyth store will operate on Sundays between 10:00AM and 4:00PM beginning March 29.
3.     Our employees will be divided into teams to reduce the chance of viral communication.  Their shifts will not overlap.   Each team will be sanitizing the stores during the day and at the beginning and end of their shift.  This is in addition to the heightened sanitization procedures we put in place two weeks ago.  Staffing will be reduced, so we appreciate your understanding with respect to phone hold times and prep times.
4.     We are cashless.  We have been cashless for one week and will continue to be credit card only—this eliminates a significant touch point between staff and customers.
As of today, March 21, these precautions are beyond those recommended by state and local officials. However, I feel strongly that they are required to better protect our employees and customers.  I personally do not want to venture into another store if I don’t have to, and I cannot in good conscience ask that of my customers.

For those that may not recall, we also have a variety of food items and treats (pasta, frozen bread, cheeses, dips, sauces, chips, crackers, chocolates, candies and of course our famous house-roasted nuts).  All is in good supply at the moment and we will be posting pics of our stock (sorry, these are not on the website).

We are also working with a local caterer to offer family meals for pick up.  More on that in the next few days.

Thank you so much for supporting our local family-owned business during this exceptionally difficult time.  I ask that you help us further by sharing this message with your friends.

We wish you and your loved ones health and happiness.  Also, if you’ve been saving a special bottle—we believe now is a great time to treat yourself!

Best regards,
