Schneider Aventinus Eisbock

We have not had this classic in awhile...
Schneider Aventinus Eisbock...$4.59 / 11.2oz bottle
Unfathomably senseous
Magic and a black soul - the mahogany coloured, almost black "Eisbock" for sensuous indulgence, best served in a balloon glas. Matured in a special freezing process following a special recipe, with a soft, elegant body, but still intensive. Spicy flavours of plum, banana and clove reveal themselves along with a hint of bitter almond and marzipan. Tempting as digestif, to crepes, dark chocolate, Tiramisu and fully ripe parmesan cheese.

Elysian The Fix Chocolate Coffee Imperial Stout

Elysian The Fix Chocolate Coffee Imperial Stout...$9.99 / 22oz
Dark, rich, and roasty with Stumptown coffee and aged on cocoa nibs sourced by Theo Chocolate, this stout is complex and full of your favorite dark matter.

Alaskan Imperial Bock

Alaskan Imperial Bock..$7.99 / 22oz

Pilot Series
This is a stronger version of a Doppelbock, which is often produced by freezing a Doppelbock and removing the ice crystals to intensify flavor and strength. Our Imperial Bock shares the same flavor intensity and strength of an Eisbock, but instead of freezing this beer, we brewed it to high alcohol content and then let it rest on oak chips to enhance the mellow vanilla sweetness.

Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

3 bottles in stock

2013 Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon...$499.99
Both 2013s are clearly the finest Eisele wines made under the administration of François Pinault and his top lieutenant, Frédéric Engerer, who also runs the show at Château Latour. The utterly compelling 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon in this vintage and 1,800 cases were made. The wine is off-the-charts great, with an opaque bluish/purple color to the rim, an aroma of pen ink, graphite, blackberry and blueberry fruit, a hint of licorice, camphor and incense. The wine is full-bodied, with extraordinary concentration, remarkable equilibrium and noticeable, but sweet, well-integrated tannin. This is a large-scaled Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, but flawless and with no edges. It is an amazing effort and a great achievement from this incredible terroir. Drink it over the next 30-40 years.

Founders Frangelic Mountain Brown...$8.99 / 4pk
We love a well-balanced brown ale. Especially a brown ale of the hazelnut coffee persuasion. Case in point: Frangelic Mountain Brown. Initially brewed and released in bottles in 2012, this deliciously sweet and nutty coffee brown ale quickly became a favorite amongst beer fans and inspired us to continue pushing the coffee and beer envelope. Turns out your new favorite coffee drink is a beer.

Founders Espresso KBS

and at Forsyth

Founders Espresso KBS...$18.99 / 750ml
KBS gets its coffee fix in the very first variant to come from our beloved bourbon barrel-aged stout. Yes, KBS may already be brewed with coffee, but it gets some extra oomph when it’s aged on espresso beans after being removed from barrels. The result is a fresh and snappy coffee twist on our classic barrel-aged beer. Who says you can’t start your day with a barrel-aged stout?

99 Point Cabernet!!

You can read more about superstar winemaker Julian Fayard here:

2016 Purlieu Cabernet Sauvignon Tuecer...$199.98
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Teucer Vineyard struts flamboyant notions of chocolate-covered cherries, black raspberries, kirsch and plum preserves with an undercurrent of blackcurrants, cedar chest, wilted roses and mossy bark plus a touch of espresso. Full-bodied, super concentrated yet perfectly balanced with a rock-solid structure of firm, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, the palate reveals layer upon layer of black fruit and savory flavors, finishing with epic length and depth and imparting an overall satisfying sense that defies descriptors. Just magic.

Paul Lato Le Souvenir Sierra Madre Chardonnay

2014 Paul Lato Le Souvenir Sierra Madre Chardonnay...$69.98
We are the lowest price in the country on Wine-Searcher

Made all from the Wente clone, the 2014 Chardonnay le Souvenir Sierra Madre Vineyard saw more new oak than most of the releases and spent 14 months in 70% new barrels. Paul has a two-acre parcel in this site, which is located in the Santa Maria Valley, and he first started working with fruit from this site in 2007. This 2014 is medium-bodied, ultra-fine and utterly seamless on the palate, with textbook notes of buttered apples, stone fruits, white flowers and hints of minerality. Every speck of new oak has been completely absorbed by this sensational Chardonnay, and it should drink gorgeously for 5-7 years. I don't have any experience with aged examples of this cuvee, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it keep for longer either.
Drink now through 2023

96 Point White!

What an amazing wine!
Great price!
Great Gift!  A wine they will not find everywhere.  The quality is off the charts!

2018 Massican Gemina White Blend....$31.99
Gemina is 69% Pinot Grigio and 31% Greco, from two vineyards, one in St. Helena and the other in Santa Rosa. With the goal of showcasing both northern and southern Italian inspiration, it deals in fresh lemon peel, white flower and gravelly texture, while being well structured and enduringly fresh. This is a truly lovely, revelatory wine.

Amazing 2015s from Dalla Valle

Great prices on these wines!

2015 Dalla Valle Cabernet Sauvignon Estate...$229.98
Inky purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate leaps from the glass with youthful, exuberant red and black currants notes over scents of garrigue, cedar, violets, rose hip, iron ore, dusty earth and underbrush. Medium to full-bodied, finely constructed and with bags of finesse, it sports a solid line of very fine-grained tannins and impressive earth-inspired layers, finishing with great persistence. This was tasted as a barrel sample.
Rated 96-98/100 The Wine Advocate
This is a layered and beautiful red with fantastic depth and richness. Full body, velvety tannins and a long and incredible finish. A wine that combines freshness and depth for the vintage. Fantastic. Drink or hold.
Rated 95/100 James Suckling
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon includes slightly less Cabernet than normal and is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Cabernet Franc. It has loads of cassis and black raspberry fruits as well as gorgeous incense, dried violets, vanilla, and flowery spice overtones. About as seamless as it gets, with full body and present yet sweet tannins, it’s a beautiful, elegant wine from this remarkable site sitting above Oakville.
Rated 95/100 Jeb Dunnuck

2015 Dalla Valle Maya...$449.98

As good as it gets, yet in a different style compared to the also perfect 2016, the 2015 Maya Proprietary Red Wine boasts a sensational, ethereal, heavenly style to go with tons of cassis and blackberry fruits intermixed with notions of dried earth, tobacco, chocolate, and a beautiful sense of minerality. This cuvée is normally a blend of 60-70% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Cabernet Franc, and it’s the Cabernet Franc that gives it another layer of complexity and elegance. The sexy, upfront nature of the 2015 vintage is front and center. This is a magical wine to drink over the coming 3+ decades.
Drink 2019 - 2049
Rated 100/100 Jeb Dunnuck
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Maya Proprietary Red Wine opens with sweet plums, spice box and kirsch notes with nuances of vanillin, cocoa powder, dried herbs and loam. Medium to full-bodied, soft, approachable and very sexy even at this youthful stage, it has a long, perfumed finish. This was tasted as a barrel sample.
Rated 96-98/100 The Wine Advocate
The polish and depth to this wine is extraordinary for the vintage. Full body, super refined and tight yet generous and exciting. Chocolate, walnut and berry. Goes on for minutes. Superb for the vintage. Better in 2020 but already so wonderful.
Rated 98/100 James Suckling

Shafer Relentless Syrah

2014 Shafer Relentless Syrah....$97.99
Checking in as a blend of 89% Syrah and 11% Petit Sirah, the 2014 Syrah Relentless is a killer bottle of wine that offers decadent notes of blackcurrants, barbecued meats, seaweed wrapper, lavender, exotic pepper, and liquid smoke. This is a rich, unctuous Rhône inspired blend that packs serious amounts of fruit and richness, yet the elegant, forward style of the vintage keeps it silky, polished and incredibly drinkable. While I haven't had every vintage of this cuvee (it was first made in 1999), my money is on this being up with the top handful of vintages. It's a blockbuster today (if you’re oak adverse, give bottles 2-3 years) but will keep for two decades.
Rated 96/100 Jeb Dunnuck
The 2014 Relentless, made up of 89% Syrah and 11% Petite Sirah, is deep garnet-purple with a pronounced nose of black plums, blackberries and black cherries with touches of fragrant earth, black pepper and Indian spices plus a waft of lavender. Very big, full-bodied, opulent and laden with vibrant black fruits and spicy layers, it has firm, rounded tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and peppery.
Rated 95+/100 The Wine Advocate
The 2014 Relentless is just as impressive from bottle as it was from barrel. Inky, voluptuous and wonderfully vivid, the 2014 has so much to offer. A rush of inky blue/purplish fruit, exotic spice and floral notes build into the powerful, brooding finish. Two thousand fourteen is an exceptional vintage for Relentless, Shafer's Syrah/Petite Sirah blend.
Rated 94/100 Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

2015 Shafer Relentless Syrah....$97.99
Blended of 90% Syrah and 10% Petite Sirah, the deep purple-black colored 2015 Relentless has a total rock-star nose of flamboyant blackberry pie, plum preserves, mulberries and licorice scents with hints of Sichuan pepper, hoisin, Indian spices and smoked meats plus a waft of raspberry leaves. Very big, rich, full and decadently fruited in the mouth, the palate packs in black fruits and exotic spices layers with a firm, rounded tannin frame and just enough freshness to carry off the long, opulent finish.
Rated 95/100 Wine Advocate
The saturated purple-colored 2015 Relentless is a Syrah-dominated blend that includes 10% Petite Sirah. This cuvée was first made in 1999 and the Syrah comes from a site in the hills above Oakville Knoll. Boasting terrific, full-throttle notes of black fruits, violets, and tapenade, it shows surprising elegance and purity on the palate, has fine, silky tannins, and superb balance. It’s a brilliant wine that has both power and elegance. Drink it over the coming decade.
Rated 95/100 Jeb Dunnuck

Anderson Conn Valley Eloge

2016 Anderson Conn Valley Eloge...$99.99
Made up of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot, the deep purple-black 2016 Eloge Proprietary Red Wine is provocatively scented of crushed black cherries, red and black currants and kirsch with nuances of Indian spices, cardamom, forest floor, smoked meats and tilled soil. Medium to full-bodied and strutting a lot of poise on the palate, it gives layer upon layer of red and black fruits with loads of earthy sparks and a finely textured finish.

Clos des Papes Chateauneuf du Pape

Perfect gift!!!

2017 Clos des Papes Chateauneuf du Pape...$99.98
One of the strongest wines in the vintage is the 2017 Châteauneuf Du Pape from Vincent Avril. This beauty has everything you could ask for. As with the 2018, the blend is heavily shifted toward Mourvèdre, and it offers a mammoth bouquet of black cherries, graphite, cured meats, Asian spices, and assorted garrigue-like nuances. Deep, full-bodied, and concentrated, it stays straight and focused on the palate (whereas the 2016 is more expansive and voluptuous), with a stacked mid-palate, ripe, silky tannins, and fabulous length. You’re going to want bottles of this in the cellar, and comparing the 2007, 2010, 2016, and 2017 over the coming two decades is going to be a treat.
Rated 98+/100 Jeb Dunnuck

As predicted last year by Paul-Vincent Avril, the 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape is a blend of 45% Grenache, 40% Mourvèdre, about 10% Syrah and the rest other permitted varieties. It boasts a cool, fresh nose of strawberries, cola and tree bark, yet it's full-bodied and tannic on the palate. Dense and chewy, albeit with a mouthwatering sense of freshness, this will need a few years to relax and unwind, but it looks very promising.

It is our family’s greatest treasure. Named after our founder, Don Andres Brugal, this blend has been enjoyed by the Brugal family for five generations before ever being released for sale. Each limited edition is different to the last, and 2015’s Alegria (or ‘joy’ in English) was created by Jassil Villanueva Quintana, the family’s first ever Maestra Ronera (female Master Blender). Alegria blends rum from three different types of rare casks and the bottle’s decoration was designed by acclaimed Spanish artist Javier Mariscal. Only 1,000 handmade decanters have been made for sale, making this one of the most unique and extraordinary rums you could ever enjoy.
