El Enemigo Malbec

2013 El Enemigo Malbec....$22.99
In 2009, Adrianna Catena, the youngest daughter of Nicolas Catena, joined forces with winemaker Alejandro Vigil to found Bodegas Aleanna. They’ve based their project on Adrianna Vineyard, a vineyard Catena planted around 1996, in the heights of Gualtallary. This 2013 reflects the cool temperatures of the area in the radiance of the fresh fruit and its crisp texture, propelled by an acidity so virile it nearly vibrates. Give the wine another five years in the cellar, so those flavors can evolve beyond fruitiness.

Flat-out delicious, this brings compelling fruit flavors of melon, papaya and pineapple, coupled with juicy, mouth-cleansing acidity. The depth and complexity are phenomenal for an Oregon Pinot Gris produced in large quantities.

Great Chianti - Volpaia

Once again the 2015 Vintage delivers amazing quality for a fantastic price.
“The 2015 vintage presents consumers with a tremendous opportunity to acquire fine, cellar worthy wines without spending a fortune. In 2015, the warm growing season yielded rich, sumptuous Chianti Classicos with great depth and intensity.”-Antonio Galloni Vinous
2015 Castello Volpaia Chianti Classico....$19.99
This juicy red has grip, setting the backdrop for pure cherry, blueberry, earth, iron and tobacco flavors. Though light-weight, this should develop over the next three to five years. Best from 2019 through 2024. 5,000 cases imported.
Rated 92/100 The Wine Spectator
A soft and velvety wine with chocolate, cedar and berry character. Medium to full body, velvety tannins and a fresh finish. Lively and delicious. Love the savory undertone to it. Drink now.
Rated 92/100 James Suckling
Volpaia's 2015 Chianti Classico is a very pretty, expressive wine with lovely textural depth and terrific balance. The raciness of the year comes through in the supple, fleshy fruit and inviting personality. Ripe dark and purplish stone fruit and spice notes meld together effortlessly. This is a stellar showing from Volpaia.

From the Volcanic Slopes of Mount Etna

From the Volcanic Soil of Mount Etna in Sicily.  Mount Etna is one of the most active volcanoes in the world.
2012 Benanti Nerello Mascalese Etna Rosso...$37.99
The 2012 Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese is a nicely balanced red wine with a lean consistency and a lightweight style. You could drink this wine as you would a Pinot Nero and pair it with game hen or roast pork with braised fennel. The graceful elegance of this wine is outstanding. Firm tannins help the wine stand to attention. It never feels flabby or soft. Drink 2015-2025
Rated 92/100 The Wine Advocate
Elegant and light- to medium-bodied, with a finely knit palate of wild cherry, licorice drop and tea leaf, showing a subtle vein of tarry minerality. Chewy tannins give this some weight and firm up the spiced finish. Drink now through 2022. 750 cases made.
Rated 90/100 Wine Spectator

Great article about the Benanti Family on Mount Etna
"The founding fathers of Mount Etna's wine industry, the Benanti family are feared by insurance actuaries worldwide" - Wine Searcher

"The Benanti family are arguably the bravest winemakers alive in Italy today, having chosen to plant vines on the lower slopes of a volcano, and an active one at that. ...It is also among the most active volcanoes on earth – in 2013 it erupted 20 times, which made it the second most active volcano in the world that year. "Catania has been destroyed seven times by eruptions and earthquakes and we cannot rule out the possibility of it happening again..." - Wine Searcher

Against the Grain BA London Balling

Limited release
Against the Grain Barrel Aged London Balling...$9.99 / 16 oz CAN
It's like Essex in your mouth
Brewed with enough Maris Otter pale, Aromatic and caramel malts to nearly overflow our mash tun. We then balanced this beer with some English Nugget and Kent Goldings hops. The resulting ale was sweet, nutty and powerful, but we didn't stop there. The entire batch was put into used Angel's Envy barrels for nearly 3 months to gather the residual bourbon flavor and some aromatic and drying oak notes. By the way, Balling is a measurement of specific gravity.

Boulevard Rye on Rye Barrel Aged...$13.99
Why Rye? This assertively flavorful grain is more often associated with whiskey than with ales. Even in that arena, it has largely been eclipsed by corn and barley, the sources of bourbon and scotch. But when we procured some seasoned barrels from our friends at Templeton Rye, we asked ourselves, “Why not?” Why not brew a rich, tawny rye ale, then mellow it in the warmth of charred oak rye whiskey casks? Two kinds of malted rye provide spicy sweetness, giving way to notes of vanilla, charred oak and the citrusy tang of Citra and Styrian Golding hops before easing into a dry, lingering finish.

New Firestone Walker - Nitro Merlin and Wookus

Firestone Walker Leo V. Ursus Wookus Black IPA...$12.99 / 4pk 16oz
Once thought to be extinct, the Wookey family comes roaring back with its wooliest progeny yet: an imperial black rye IPA that is wickedly hoppy, righteously spicy and fearsome in flavor. While exhibiting DNA from its Wookey Jack ancestry, Wookus offers next-generation attitude with amplified hop aromatics and a bit of rebellious dankness. The result is a beer that blends the familiar with the ferocious. Right out of Firestone Walker mythology and into your glass—behold the beast that we call Wookus.

Wookus is available for a limited time, after which it will yield to the next offering in the Leo v. Ursus chronology. Enjoy it as soon as possible.

Firestone Walker Nitro Merlin Milk Stout...$8.99 /6 pk cans
Our first nitro beer is now available in cans. Just pour as directed, behold the wizardry and enjoy the mindblowing mouthful that we call Nitro Merlin Milk Stout.

Master The Surge Pour
To enjoy this beer to the fullest, you want to master the surge pour. Just invert the can three times, then pour hard into the glass. This way, you can experience the “theater of the pour” with a brilliant cascading effect and a creamy foam that makes drinking Nitro Merlin Milk Stout all the more delicious

Nitro Wizardry
The wizardry comes via “nitro,” the brewing nickname for nitrogen gas. A nitro beer contains more nitrogen gas and less carbon dioxide (CO2) gas compared to a traditional beer. The signatures of nitro beers are brilliant clarity in the glass; thick, long-lasting foam; and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel—all qualities that accentuate and enhance the classic milk stout character.

Dogfish Head fresh Liquid Truth Serum

Dogfish Head Liquid Truth Serum IPA...$13.99 / 6pk

You can handle the truth!
MYTH: IBUs (hop bitterness) can only be achieved in the boil. TRUTH: Uh-uh!
The truth is, Dogfish Head has been doing innovative things in the world of hopping since we opened in the mid-90s. From our continual hopping method found in our 60 Minute, 90 Minute and 120 Minute IPAs to our latest innovation of post-boil hop additions found in our Liquid Truth Serum!
Our unique process involving pelletized, powdered, leaf and liquefied hops makes for a blissfully inefficient IPA that's truthfully hoppy without being deceptively bitter. You'll find the perfect match of citrusy and tropical notes, making for a zesty finish ... honest.

Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing IPA...$7.99 / 6pk cans
A hop-heavy, unfiltered, hazy little thing called IPA.
As brewers, we get the privilege to sample our beers straight from the tanks in all their raw glory. Some beers need a little polishing to get ready to go out into the world, while others—the hop-heavy, rowdy, crowd-pleasers—should just be left alone. We wanted to share this brewery-only treat with you, so we present this Hazy Little Thing, our unfiltered, unprocessed IPA, straight from the tanks and into the can.

Sierra Nevada 4-Way IPA...$13.99 mix 12 pack
For more than 30 years, we’ve been pushing the boundaries of hop-forward beers. This collection of IPAs is our gift to you. Our 4-Way IPA pack features our island-inspired Tropical Torpedo, a returning favorite red IPA, and two all-new IPAs exploring the range of hop flavor.

Sierra Nevada Know Good IPA
You think you know good IPA?
This straightforward, slightly hazy, American IPA has just enough malt body to launch the citrus and floral hop notes straight to your palate, making Know Good perfect for today or any day. When it comes to hop flavor, we know what good is, and you do, too.

Sierra Nevada No Middle Ground Coffee IPA

Cold-brewed coffee and fruit-forward hops create a unique IPA
At first glance, it might seem strange to combine coffee and hoppy beer, but really, the two flavors have a lot in common. Good coffee and hops both have complex and fruity aromas which create layers of flavor. No Middle Ground is brewed with fruit-forward hop varietals and cold-brewed coffee for a unique take on the IPA.

Sierra Nevada Flipside Red IPA
Citrusy and fruit-forward hops soar over a smooth malt body.
Flipside finds the perfect balance between hops and malt in this easy-drinking red IPA. It features just enough smooth and slightly sweet malt body to support huge citrusy and tropical fruit-forward hop flavors from the use of Simcoe, Citra, and Centennial hops.

Sierra Nevada Tropical IPA
A tropical take on the American IPA
Inspired by the island life, we created an IPA completely disconnected from the mainland. We used our one-of-a-kind Hop Torpedo to deliver an intense rush of hop flavor and the lush aromas of mango, papaya, and passionfruit with every sip. Enjoy our tropical twist on the American IPA.

Napa Valley iconic winery - huge score!

"This wine....is fabulous..." -- Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate

Another great deal from one of California's most Historic Wineries.
2014 Louis Martini Napa Valley Cabernet....$29.98
“One of the strongest efforts yet from the Martinis, this cuvée still sells at a modest $38.00 – a fair price for something this compelling. The wine has an opaque purple color, a beautiful nose of blueberries, blackcurrants, licorice, camphor and graphite. The wine is full-bodied and multilayered on the palate with sensational richness and length. It should drink well for 20-25 years.”
Rated 93-95/100 Robert Parker The Wine Advocate

Vecchie Vigne ....$59.99
Only 18 bottles available & we have the lowest price on wine searcher!

James Suckling top scoring 2011 Brunello!  Ready to start drinking now!
A very muscular red with plum, blueberry, walnut and dried mushroom character on both the nose and palate. Full and chewy. Fabulous fruit and intensity. Amazing quality for the vintage. Wow.  Better in 2017
Rated 97/100 James Suckling

The 2011 Brunello di Montalcino Vecchie Vigne is deep, powerful and explosive. The gravitas of the old vines and the blend of fruit that incorporates fruit from the southern end of the zone in equal parts with the north comes through loud and clear. Macerated cherries, smoke, spices, leather, licorice and French oak flesh out in a dense, stylish Brunello that captures the essence of the Pacenti house style. Drink this creamy, voluptuous Brunello over the next decade or so.

2009 Chateau Les Pagodes de Cos St. Estephe.....$89.99
The brilliant 2009 Les Pagodes de Cos actually has more Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend than the grand vin (69% versus 65%) in addition to mostly Merlot and a small quantity of Petit Verdot. As powerful as the Cos in terms of alcoholic clout (14.5%), the full-bodied, round, generous Les Pagodes de Cos exhibits lots of creme de cassis and floral notes intermixed with hints of wood/barrique and spice. Juicy, succulent and remarkably fresh and well-delineated, it merits considerable attention from consumers. It should drink well for 15-20 years. Oddly enough, the second wine is superior to many vintages of Cos in the 1960s 1970s and 1980s!
Rated 94/100 The Wine Advocate

2010 Chateau Les Pagodes de Cos.....$89.99
Probably the best second wine ever made at Cos (although the 2009 should not be discounted), the 2010 Les Pagodes de Cos is a blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon and 38% Merlot finishing at 14% natural alcohol. This wine exhibits beautiful, silky tannins as well as sweet, rich mulberry and black currant fruit with hints of spring flowers, licorice and subtle toast. A full-bodied, opulent and -ideal- second wine, most people who have tasted it would probably agree that it is actually better than many vintages of Cos d-Estournel from the 1960s and 1970s. Drink it over the next 10-15 years.
Rated 93/100 The Wine Advocate

2012 Chateau Les Pagodes de Cos....$66.99
Named after the Chinese facade of this most extraordinary of wineries, this wine is ripe and smooth in a style that brings out richness and a round character. It's already totally integrated, solid while also very generous.

Liber & Co. Quality Syrups

CRAFT IS BACK
The 80s and 90s were the dark ages of cocktails. Appletinis and fluorescent-colored shots ruled the day and well-made classics were hard to find. Thankfully, we’re now in the middle of a food and drink renaissance and today’s cocktail culture has reclaimed the art of drinking well.
Over the last decade, quality and attention to detail have driven this return to craft, and distilleries have produced exceptional spirits and liqueurs to help raise the bar. Bitters have exploded from two old standards to dozens of quality producers, and freshly juiced citrus has become the only acceptable offering in any bar worth its drink. Behind it all, devoted bartenders have worked tirelessly to reestablish the craft of the cocktail.
On the whole, we are all drinking better now than ever, and we have superior bartenders and ingredients to thank for this.

IN THE COMPANY OF LIBER
In 2011, we noticed that something was missing. While high-end spirits, liqueurs and bitters meant that everyone could obtain most of what's needed to make better cocktails, there was still a problem for the discerning drinker. An entire ingredient category remained overlooked. No one offered quality cocktail syrups – the essentials required for hundreds of great drinks. Instead, artificially flavored corn syrups were peddled as substitutes, and anyone seeking an authentic drink was left wanting.

We started Liber & Co. to fill this void. We aim to complete your bar so that you can enjoy dozens of excellent cocktails.

Liber & Co Tonic Syrup...$7.99 / 9.5oz

Liber & Co. Classic Gum Syrup...$7.49 / 8.5oz
Gum syrup has long been a staple ingredient in the world’s best cocktail bars.  Gum syrup is a simple syrup combined with gum arabic, an all-natural emulsifier derived from African acacia trees. The addition of gum arabic lends the syrup a silky and more luxuriant mouthfeel when compared to a common simple syrup. It is a superior sweetener with incredible versatility. Our Classic Gum Syrup is a rich 2:1 simple syrup, meaning a little goes a long way. Try it in classics like the Old Fashioned or Sazerac, or with iced tea, coffee, or lemonade.
AN 8.5 OZ. BOTTLE MAKES ~ 30 OLD FASHIONEDS

Liber & Co. Real Grenadine....$6.49 / 8.5oz
Originally, grenadine was a pomegranate syrup used in drinks for it's tart, sweet flavor and intense red color. Today's mass produced grenadines are just high fructose corn syrup with artificial colors and flavors. Our Real Grenadine stands tastefully apart - authentic in its ingredients and unrivaled in its flavor. Our cold-processing retains the fruits naturally fresh flavors and rich color. Pure cane sugar and orange blossom water lend this syrup great balance and an elegant floral aroma. Try it in classics like the Jack Rose or Tequila Sunrise.
AN 8.5 OZ. BOTTLE MAKES ~ 16 JACK ROSES

Liber & Co. Orgeat Syrup...$7.49 / 8.5oz
Orgeat is a must have for any cocktail fan! Liber & Co. orgeat begins with organic almonds that are blanched and roasted to bring out their toasted nut flavors. After grinding the roasted almonds into a perfectly smooth butter, we blend in cane sugar, orange blossom water and a touch of bitter almond oil for a distinct marzipan note. This is complex orgeat whose full almond character makes it indispensable at any well-stocked bar. The iconic orgeat cocktail is the Mai Tai.
AN 8.5 OZ. BOTTLE MAKES ~ 11 MAI TAIS
