Breckenridge back in stock at Forsyth

Breckenridge Vanilla Porter....$7.99 / 6pk
Real vanilla beans from Madagascar combined with caramel and Munich malts create a beer that’s balanced and flavorful. Aromas of vanilla and toasted grain set the stage for mellow flavors of vanilla and dark roasted malts. Don’t let its deep mahogany color fool you. Vanilla Porter is dark in color and packed with flavor, yet it is as smooth as they come and easy to enjoy at any time of the year.
ABV: 5.4%

Breckenridge Christmas Ale...$7.99 / 6pk
The chill of winter calls for a beer with extra flavor and strength, and this take on a classic strong ale does just that—it soothes the soul and warms the spirit. Flavors of caramel and chocolate are derived from an abundance of carefully roasted malts. Chinook and Mt. Hood hops contribute a spiciness, lending balance and a clean finish. Christmas Ale is a cozy holiday companion worthy of sharing.

La Noble Chardonnay scores 90 points!

2017 La Noble Chardonnay....$13.99
The 2017 Chardonnay is terrific as well as a smoking value! Stone fruits, buttered citrus, white flowers and a hint of salty minerality all give way to a medium-bodied, clean, deliciously balanced, pure Chardonnay that over-delivers. Drink this soft, forward, terrific Chardonnay over the coming year or two.

Assumption Abbey Fruitcake

From Ava Missouri....
A holiday tradition!

We know all the fruitcake jokes, but this one is the real deal. A delicious fruitcake that has received national attention and acclaim. We have been stocking it since the beginning (at least 23-25 years).

Assumption Abbey Fruitcake...$35.99 / 2lbs

$48.95 at William Sonoma
"Assumption Abbey is a secluded Trappist monastery nestled
in the foothills of the Missouri Ozarks. It was established in 1950 by a group of monks from New Melleray Abbey in Dubuque, IA. Through the years, the brothers of Assumption Abbey have continued to live by the centuries old Trappist tradition of contemplation and study, private prayer and common worship, and living by the work of their own hands. When Assumption Abbey was first developing its bakery, the monks sought the help of world class chef Jean-Pierre Augé, who at one time served in the royal employ of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Mr. Augé's assistance, and his generosity in providing the recipe and ideas for production, gave the monks the impetus to go forward with the Assumption Abbey Fruitcakes.Assumption Abbey Fruitcakes are the dark, rich, traditional style of fruitcake. They are baked slowly and aged under the careful supervision of the monks. Everything, from marinating the fruit, to mixing, to baking, to packaging, to aging, to mailing is done right at the monastery by the monks. Assumption Abbey is not a commercial enterprise. It is a way of life, and that way of life, combined with the careful work of the bakers, insures a dedication to high quality that makes Assump

2015 Chateau Malartic Lagraviere Pessac Leognan....$69.99
The 2015 Malartic Lagravière is just as fabulous from bottle as it was from barrel. Rich, voluptuous and dramatic, it captures all of the natural intensity of the year. Black cherry, plum, mocha, chocolate, licorice and French oak build into a crescendo of stunning aromas, flavors and textures. This is in an especially dark, sumptuous style, but it all works beautifully. The 2015 was positively thrilling each of the three times I tasted it.

2015 Chateau Pichon Baron Pauillac....$199.99
Reminding me of the 1990, the 2015 Château Pichon Baron is a sensational bottle of wine made from 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot that spent 18 months in 80% new French oak. Boasting a deep purple color as well as awesome notes of black raspberries, toasted spices, cassis, lead pencil shavings, tobacco leaf and building minerality, this full-bodied, concentrated 2015 has sweet tannin, a great texture, and a big, big finish. Pauillac all the way, with both opulence and finesse, forget bottles of 4-5 years and enjoy anytime over the following two to three decades. This is a match for the 2009, 2000, and 1990.

2017 Alfredo Roca Fincas Torrontes....$5.99

Lowest price on Wine-Searcher is $11.99Reminding me of a dry Muscat, the roughly 400-case 2017 Torrontés Fincas offers exotic notes of apricot, pineapple, flowers and honeysuckle. Last year sold out fast!
J. Rieger's Kansas City Whiskey...$32.99 / 750ml
Jacob Rieger and Company was founded in 1887 in Kansas City's West Bottoms Livestock Exchange district. The brand offered over 100 alcoholic products and took pride in maintaining a quarter of a million unique customers by offering mail-order delivery services. In 1919, Prohibition was enacted by the federal government and was not reversed until 1933. J. Rieger and Co. was a casualty at the time, but was not destined to be lost forever. 95 years after Prohibition, we can officially say that the historic and iconic spirits brand of Kansas City is back!

Our bottling of Kansas City Whiskey pays tribute to the original brand by utilizing a blend of Corn, Malt, and Straight Rye Whiskies, as well as a small amount of 15 year old Oloroso Sherry from the Williams & Humbert Bodedga in Jerez, Spain. The use of Sherry in American Whiskey was commonplace in the 1800s, but was lost after prohibition.. Bottled at 90 proof and comprised of Whiskeys aged at least 7 years, our Kansas City Whiskey is a balanced, smooth, and slightly sweet and powerful Whiskey that is beautiful when served neat or on the rocks, but also works well in classic cocktails such as the Horsefeather and Old Fashioned."

The Big O Ginger Liqueur
The Premium Ginger Liqueur
The Big O is the most pleasing liqueur you will ever taste. It truly is artisan-made by people who appreciate fine food, excellent wine, a great liqueur, and good times. It blends the warmth of ginger and exotic spices, the sweetness of tropical sugars, the coolness of citrus, and the liberation of fine, artisan-crafted spirits.

The Big O is silky on the tongue, offering just a hint of a rising heat ― not too much, just a blush ― as the spices begin to reveal themselves, expressing their individual personalities and combined harmony. The tiny bite of alcohol raises your temperature just a bit - increasing your comfort. The combination of flavors then rests at the back of the tongue in a delightful kiss of spices, remembered pleasures.

When we make The Big O, we hand-select the spices we use, choosing the best all-natural botanicals available, so there truly is

Nothing Fake About It.
