Shafer One Point Five Cabernet Sauvignon

2015 Shafer One Point Five Cabernet Sauvignon $95.99
Plus mix and match for a case discount
Taut and leathery, this is a thickly tannic, incredibly structured and powerful wine, softened by 7% Merlot and 3% Malbec. Extracted black fruit is poised amongst earthy truffle, crushed rock and black pepper, the aromas and flavors integrated and built to age. Enjoy best 2025–2030.
Rated 97/100 Wine Enthusiast
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon One Point Five is a fabulous example of the year at its best. Super-ripe red cherry, pomegranate, mint, rose petal and spice infuse this voluptuous, racy Cabernet Sauvignon. Readers looking for a wine to drink with minimal cellaring will find much to admire in this sexy, racy Cabernet. Even with all of its up-front fruit, the 2015 has quite a bit of depth and tannin to support at least a handful of years of fine drinking.

Carpe Diem Chard

2013 Carpe Diem Chardonnay Anderson Valley...$16.98
was ...$21.99
Unusually dry and crisp, this gives up tangy green apple, kiwi and lemon flavors backed by electric acidity, rather light body and a touch of enervating astringency that's unusual in a white wine. Fresh oysters, please.

Domaine Anderson Pinot Noir Estate Bottled

2013 Domaine Anderson Pinot Noir Estate Bottled...$33.99

The 2013 is richer than the 2012. It is a soft, seductive Pinot with dark fruit character and gorgeous silky texture — but this wine is a bit more complex than that simple description suggests. When you hold the wine in your mouth, it takes on additional dimensions, such as firm but gentle tannin around its edges, tart red fruit notes that brighten the dark fruit flavors, and acidity that enlivens the wine from its core. The composite is, as the winemaker describes it, “generous without heaviness.”

EnRoute Pinot Noir RRV Les Pommiers

2016 EnRoute Pinot Noir RRV Les Pommiers...$59.99Succulent, juicy and fresh red-cherry aromas in a pure, refined style. There’s attractive, sinewy, typical pinot flesh and tannins on the palate that make for a compelling offering. Long and focused. Drink or hold.

White Pinot Noir

Yes, a WHITE Pinot Noir

2015 Brandborg Fleur de Lis White Pinot Noir....$23.99
We bring the fruit into the winery early morning while still quite cold and gently whole cluster press the grapes to tank for settling. The juice picks up very little color with this treatment. We ferment our white pinot noir in old “neutral” barrels. We like all the barrel contributes to the maturation of the wine, but we do not want any oak flavors. The wine is aged sur lie and we stir the lees at every topping. This technique helps to broaden the mouthfeel of the wine and give it more texture.
The wine has a pretty faint bronzish hue. The aroma has white cherries, green apples and lemon pound cake with a backdrop of fragrant wild herbs. The flavors have a nice tart green apple and citrus complexity with caramel appearing in the background. The texture is round and full, balanced by the nice fresh acidity. The finish is quite long, lingering and satisfying.
This is a great seafood or shellfish wine.

Few Semillons show their richness and complexity as those produced in Washington State. Our cool harvest nights help to ensure crisp natural acidity, making this a wonderful food pairing wine. - winery

Ridge Zinfandel East Bench

2014 Ridge Zinfandel East Bench...$29.99
The 2014 Zinfandel East Bench (100% Zinfandel as well) is the biggest of these wines at a whopping 14.9% alcohol. Nearly Provençal in character, this wine displays good, fleshy, ripe black cherry and blackcurrant fruit and loads of spice, with zesty acids and light tannin. This medium to full-bodied Zinfandel is a beauty and should drink nicely for the next 4-6 years.
Drink 2016 - 2022.  Just hitting its optimal drinking time!
Rated 90/100 The Wine Advocate
Ridge's 2014 Zinfandel East Bench is a standout, especially considering its price. Brisk and wonderfully perfumed, the 2014 possesses striking aromatic presence to match its mid-weight personality. This is one of the more silky, refined Zinfandels readers will come across. I can't recommend it highly enough. At this stage, the East Bench has almost Pinot-like finesse. The East Bench is a great choice for by the case purchases, as one or two bottles won't nearly be enough. This is a rare 100% Zinfandel from Ridge, as the other Zinfandels in the range are field blends.

Dogfish Head Liquid Truth Serum IPA

Dogfish Head Liquid Truth Serum IPA...$9.49 / 4pk 16oz cans
You can handle the truth!
MYTH: IBUs (hop bitterness) can only be achieved in the boil. TRUTH: Uh-uh!
The truth is, Dogfish Head has been doing innovative things in the world of hopping since we opened in the mid-90s. From our continual hopping method found in our 60 Minute, 90 Minute and 120 Minute IPAs to our latest innovation of post-boil hop additions found in our Liquid Truth Serum!
Our unique process involving pelletized, powdered, leaf and liquefied hops makes for a blissfully inefficient IPA that's truthfully hoppy without being deceptively bitter. You'll find the perfect match of citrusy and tropical notes, making for a zesty finish ... honest.

Dogfish Head Punkin Ale

Dogfish Head Punkin Ale....$13.99 / 6pk
Every Beer Has A Story... here's Punkin Ale

A full-bodied brown ale with smooth hints of pumpkin and brown sugar. We brew our Punkin Ale with pumpkin meat, brown sugar and spices. As the season cools, this is the perfect beer to warm up with.

Punkin Ale is named after the seriously off-centered southern Delaware extravaganza Punkin Chunkin. In fact, Punkin Ale made its debut as it claimed first prize in the 1994 Punkin Chunkin Recipe Contest. Yes, that was a full 6 months before we even opened our doors for business!

Punkin Chunkin has grown in size and scale, with pumpkins now being hurled more than 4,000 feet through the air! If you come down to see if for yourself, drop by and visit us.

Since its debut, we've brewed Punkin Ale each and every fall. It is released right around Sept. 1 each year. When you find it, grab some extra because it's usually gone by Thanksgiving.

2017 Lancyre Roussanne

This has always been a favorite...
2017 Lancyre Roussanne....$19.99
Crushed stone, pineapple and tangerine notes mingle easily on the nose of the 2017 Val de Montferrand Roussanne. This is pleasantly crisp and fresh, with tropical notes up front but zesty citrus on the finish, and in between there's a pleasantly plump, medium-bodied wine with immense appeal.

Alfredo Roca Pinot Noir

The Roca family has been producing wine in Mendoza for 4 generations, and currently farms 280+ acres in San Rafael, the southernmost province of Mendoza. At altitudes of 2,600 feet above sea level, Roca’s vineyards produce distinct, cool-climate wines of singular quality.

2017 Alfredo Roca Pinot Noir...$13.99
Readers looking for a value-priced Pinot Noir should check out the 2017 Fincas Pinot Noir, which was sourced from two sites, both a mix of sandy, loamy clay soils, and was brought up in tank and oak. It offers true Pinot Noir typicity in its spicy, black cherry, and underbrush aromas and flavors. With medium-bodied richness, no hard edges, and a good finish, it's ideal for drinking over the coming couple of years
