Chateau Landeraux Entre Deux Mers White Bordeaux

2015 Chateau Landeraux Entre Deux Mers White Bordeaux...$12.99
Suggested Retail $18 from The Wine Enthusiast
Situated on the ridge in the center of Entre-deux-Mers that produces fine white wines, this vineyard has produced a wine that is rich and full. Apricot and ripe pear fruits have a perfumed touch along with almond and spice flavors. It could do with a few more months and will be best from 2017.
Rated 88/100 The Wine Enthusiast

The 2015 Chateau Landereau, from the Entre-Deux-Mers, is a blend of 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Semillon, 20% Sauvignon Gris and 10% Muscadelle. It has a lively gooseberry and Granny Smith apple-scented bouquet, the palate simple, but clean and well balanced. It might lack a little complexity, but it feels harmonious and boasts commendable length, with a touch of spice right on the finish. This is worth checking out at this wallet-friendly price ($20).  - The Wine Advocate

Travis Santa Barbara Chardonnay

Looking for a bigger, richer Chardonnay under $20!
This new Travis Chardonnay is much bigger and fatter than previous years.   First of all - it received malolactic fermentation which gives it a much more buttery component.  This is the first year that is has seen some oak treatment (toasted and untoasted French Oak) and this is the first year it is SANTA BARBARA fruit!

2015 Travis Santa Barbara Chardonnay...$15.99
Travis has long produced some of California’s finest and most distinctive Chardonnays, offering a classic union of richness, exotic fruit, and a distinctive minerality.
Tasting Notes:  With an intense focus on freshness, this vivid yet tender wine avoids excessive flavors of oak, butter and tropical fruit in favor of a very pure expression of the flavors of the unadorned Chardonnay grape grown in one of its best terroirs.
Serve With: Enjoy this with simple food of the highest quality, whether from land, sea or air.

Glenfiddich Experimental #1 - finished in IPA Casks!

Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Finished in IPA Casks...$63.99
Experimental Series #1
43% ABV
TO PIONEER A NEW MALT
WE CREATED A CRAFT BEER
In our first groundbreaking experiment, Malt Master Brian Kinsman has proven that traditional whisky casks can still be seasoned in a pioneering way. Collaborating with a local Speyside craft brewer, Brian created a bold and zesty India Pale Ale beer to imbue our rich oak casks with extra hoppy notes. The experiment resulted in the first single malt Scotch whisky ever finished in craft India Pale Ale casks.

The Experimental Series embodies our family philosophy of freedom and possibilities, to create a range of ground-breaking single malts.
This year sees the release of our first pioneering expression in the series: The India Pale Ale Experiment. In collaboration with India Pale Ale expert, Seb Jones, we created an innovative new craft ale to finish our groundbreaking single malt.

Finished in bespoke craft India Pale Ale barrels, our pioneering new malt is imbued with unique zesty citrus notes and the subtle tang of fresh hops. The flavour comes with carefully hand selecting the right malt whiskies to complement the extra hoppy notes.

Joseph Magnus Murray Hill Club....$79.99
Blend of 18 Year Old, 11 year old and 9 Year Old
Murray Hill Club is the historic Magnus flagship brand, and is a blended bourbon whiskey - Magnus Master Blender Nancy Fraley is to be commended for her work to get the balance just right - the Murray Hill Club a blend of 18-year bourbon, 11-year bourbon, and a bit of 9 year-old light whiskey to round out the flavor -- it is truly an exceptional and unique product.

Richard Wolf, Magnus Dream Team member and former GM and VP of Buffalo Trace had the following notes upon tasting a sample of the finished product: "Nice amber to golden color, clear, clean. Fantastic, ‘old’ whiskey nose - smells like Warehouse C at Buffalo Trace (one of my favorite places to hang out)! Notes of wood, char, vanilla, dried fruit. Taste delivers on promise of nose, nicely balanced, lots of black pepper forms at mid palate and lingers, Finish, long and warm. Overall, quite lovely."

Henry Preiss, creator of A.H. Hirsch Reserve 16 had the following notes: Tasting Murray Hill was an adventure in whisky made in a fashion of an era gone buy. Rich notes of vanilla and layers of dried fruit make for an most enjoyable whisky.

Magnus Master Blender Nancy Fraley shared: The 21st century Murray Hill Club whiskey is made as a nod to the ancestral art of our Magnus blending fore bearers by carefully selecting, blending, and marrying mature whiskeys from 9 to 18 years old to give it complexity, elegance, and finesse. The whiskey has notes of honey, toffee, dark dried fruit, orange citrus, and brown baking spice, with a long, warm finish.

Dunkerton Ciders

Dunkerton Black Fox Cider....$6.49 / 500ml
Dunkertons Organic Black Fox cider has fragrant notes of traditional cider apple varieties which we have carefully blended together to give a deliciously robust cider leaving your mouth full of lively sweet and tangy after tastes. Translucent in colour with light golden honey hues.
The Tale of The Black Fox
From the earliest times rural communities have told stories of many fantastic and unusual creatures which have supposedly lived in their locality. The lush rolling countryside of North West Herefordshire is no exception where folklore stories tell of an animal which has evaded capture by farmer and huntsman alike; The Black Fox. The red fox has always existed however the belief grew that there was also a fox “as black as night, so that it might live in a man’s shadow and so never be seen”. A favoured haunt of the BLACK FOX is the cider orchard.

Dunkerton Perry Cider....$6.49
Our delicious sparkling Perry made from organically grown traditional varieties of Perry pears. Pours golden and slightly hazy with very gentle bubbles. With an over-ripe pear fragrance, the taste is creamy with a good balance between initial sweetness and the dryness of the finish. Dunkertons Perry is fragrant and delicate and should be served lightly chilled.

The History of the Perry Pear
Though relatively uncommon perry pear trees are easily identified in an orchard landscape by their great height and cascading white blossom. Some of these majestic perry trees are over 300 years old. The mature trees can very often produce over a ton of pears. We harvest and press a range of traditional varieties with wonderful names such as Merrylegs, Red Horse, Moorcroft, Painted Lady and, Thorn. Each variety of perry pear is pressed, fermented and stored separately and then blended a year after pressing.

Perry was usually drunk in large quantities by all workers and farm labourers would frequently receive part of their wages in quantities of perry. Often perry was sent to areas with large populations in times of conflict with the French when imports of wine were reduced.

Odell Brewing Flemish Giant

Odell Brewing Flemish Giant...$14.99 / 750ml
The name Flemish Giant pays tribute to a curious breed of rabbit which can grow up to 20 lbs. Native to Belgium, the birthplace of the Flanders-Style Sour Red Ale, the Flemish Giant dates back to the 16th century.
Our Flemish Giant comes in at 6.5% and begins with notes of tart ruby red grapefruit and cherry, finishing with sweet raisin and fig. Woodcut toasted oak barrels, Bourbon barrels, rum barrels, and chardonnay barrels all contribute different layers and depth to the final beer.
We really think you’re going to love it.

Dogfish Head Burton Baton Oak Aged IPA...$13.99 / 4pk
This oak-aged hybrid has been gaining popularity over the past few years and is now available year-round.  For Burton Baton, we brew two "threads," or batches, of beer: an English-style old ale and an imperial IPA.  After fermenting the beers separately in our stainless tanks, they're transferred and blended together in one of our large oak tanks. Burton Baton sits on the wood for about a month. When enjoying the Burton Baton, you'll find an awesome blend of the citrus notes from Northwestern hops melding with woody, vanilla notes from the oak. The wood also tends to mellow the 10% ABV of Burton, so tread cautiously!

Dogfish Head Indian Brown Dark IPA...$9.99 / 6pk
Forget about the car companies, this is the original hybrid. A cross between a Scotch Ale, an India Pale Ale and an American Brown, Indian Brown is well-hopped and malty at the same time (It's magical!).
The beer has characteristics of each style that inspired it: the color of an American Brown, the caramel notes of a Scotch Ale, and the hopping regimen of an India Pale Ale. We dry-hop the Indian Brown in a similar fashion to our 60 Minute IPA and 90 Minute IPA. This beer is brewed with Aromatic barley and organic brown sugar.

Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA...$9.99 / 6pk bottles
Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA...$19.99 / 12pk Cans

60 Minute IPA is continuously hopped -- more than 60 hop additions over a 60-minute boil. (Getting a vibe of where the name came from?)  60 Minute is brewed with a slew of great Northwest hops. A powerful but balanced East Coast IPA with a lot of citrusy hop character, it's the session beer for hardcore enthusiasts!

Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA...$10.99 / 4pk
Esquire Magazine calls our 90 Minute IPA "perhaps the best IPA in America." An imperial IPA best savored from a snifter, 90 Minute has a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate.  90 Minute IPA was the first beer we continuously hopped, allowing for a pungent -- but not crushing -- hop flavor.

Dogfish Head Namaste White....$9.99 / 6pk
A witbier bursting with good karma. Made with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander, this Belgian-style white beer is a great thirst quencher.  Namaste White was originally brewed at our pub in Rehoboth Beach with our Italian friend Leo from Birra del Borgo. It was a tribute to our friends at 3 Fonteinen brewery in Belgium, who had devastating production loss (1/3 of their annual production) in 2009.   Forget about the car companies, this is the original hybrid. A cross between a Scotch Ale, an India Pale Ale and an American Brown, Indian Brown is well-hopped and malty at the same time (It's magical!).

Dogfish Head Midas Touch...$11.99 / 4pk
This was the first beer in our Ancient Ales series.  This sweet yet dry beer is made with ingredients found in 2,700-year-old drinking vessels from the tomb of King Midas. Somewhere between beer, wine and mead, Midas will please the chardonnay and beer drinker alike.  For years, Dogfish Head has worked with biomolecular archaeologist Dr. Patrick McGovern to bring Ancient Ales to life.
What you have here is a serious India Pale Ale shacking up and hunkering down with mango and apricots. At the same time! Romantic Chemistry is brewed with an intermingling of mangos, apricots and ginger, and then dry-hopped with three varieties of hops to deliver a tropical fruit aroma and a hop-forward finish.
It’s fruity, it’s hoppy, it’s tasty!

Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron...$13.99 / 4pk
An unfiltered, unfettered, unprecedented brown ale aged in handmade wooden brewing vessels. The caramel and vanilla complexity unique to this beer comes from the exotic Paraguayan Palo Santo wood from which these tanks were crafted. Palo Santo means "holy tree," and its wood has been used in South American wine-making communities.  This highly roasty and malty brown ale clocks in at 12% ABV. A huge hit at our Rehoboth Beach brewpub when first released in November 2006, Palo went into full production at the end of 2007.  At 10,000 gallons, our two Palo tanks are the largest wooden brewing vessels built in America since before Prohibition (and we have three same-sized oak tanks right next to them).

SOLD OUT
Dogfish Head Beer to Drink Music To...$13.99 / 6pk
Music has been a part of Dogfish Head since before Dogfish Head. So it’s a natural fit for a brewery that makes ‘Analog Beer for the Digital Age’ to be the Official Beer of Record Store Day, a celebration of the unique culture of record stores and the special role they play in their communities.  Of course, as the Official Beer of Record Store Day, we had to create a special brew for the occasion! Now for the second year, that’s just what we’ve done with Beer To Drink Music To. In volume two of this celebratory ale, this Tropical Blonde is brewed with hibiscus flowers and kiwi juice. It’s the perfect marriage of beer and music and best when paired with some of your favorite tunes.  Clocking in at 6.8% ABV, Beer To Drink Music To ’17 is a pinkish-red brew with forward notes of tropical fruits with hints of berries and floral.

Dogfish Head Flesh and Blood IPA...$12.99 / 6pk Cans
Flesh & Blood began with a ton of real citrus including lemon flesh and blood orange juice—hence the name—plus orange and lemon peel. Then the brewers began searching for the perfect combination of hops to perfectly complement the citrus flavors. After trialing number of different hops one-by-one, they emerged with Warrior and Centennial.  So what does this focus on simple, pure unadulterated fruit mean in terms of the aromatics and flavors in this beer? Flesh & Blood balances the resinous hoppy characteristics of an American IPA with the explosive zesty fruitiness and subtle drying tartness of citrus to deliver a highly quaffable ale that’s incredibly unique and lovely to down the whole year round.

Dogfish Head SeaQuench Ale...$9.99 / 6pk Cans
SeaQuench Ale is our session sour quencher made with lime peel, black lime and sea salt. It’s a citrusy-tart union of three German styles of beer blissfully brewed into one. We begin by brewing a straightforward Kolsch with lots of wheat and Munich Malt, then we brew a salty Gose with black limes, coriander and our sea salt. We follow it all up with a citrusy-tart Berlinerweiss made with lime juice and lime peel. All three beers are then blended together in the fermentation tank to create this German hybrid.  Working alongside the National Aquarium out of Baltimore, Maryland, we've replicated sea salt sourced from both Maine and the Chesapeake Bay to give SeaQuench Ale its mildly salty characteristic.   And, releasing just in time for the 500th anniversary of the Reinheitsgebot - aka the “German Beer Purity Law” that says it’s illegal to brew with anything other than water, barley, and hops - SeaQuench Ale both commemorates (and disintegrates) this art-censorship law.  The release of SeaQuench Ale kicks off a new partnership between Dogfish Head and the National Aquarium that will focus on inspiring conservation of the world’s aquatic treasures. Dogfish Head’s philanthropic contributions will help the Aquarium generate important conservation impact for a healthy Chesapeake Bay. The National Aquarium logo can be found on the SeaQuench Ale label and Dogfish’s brewed ales and handcrafted spirits will be showcased in the Aquarium’s café year-round and offered at select Aquarium events.

Dogfish Head Saison du Buff...$8.99 / 4pk bottles
This beer is collaboration between Dogfish Head, Stone Brewing Co. (Escondido, CA) and Victory Brewing Company (Downingtown, PA).  The idea for this beer germinated way back in 2003 when the three guys (Sam from Dogfish, Greg from Stone and Bill from Victory) formed the BUFF alliance (Brewers United for Freedom of Flavor) - a noble endeavor with the goal to highlight the passion and camaraderie of the American craft brew movement.
So, BUFF didn't really do anything (beyond talk a lot of talk) until 2010 when the three brewers finally got together to jointly brew at beer at the Stone Brewery. Saison du BUFF was first brewed at Stone and then replicated at each of the other two breweries - same recipe, same ingredients, three different breweries throughout 2010. The brewers have a repeat performance planned for 2012!  Saison du BUFF is a 6.8% ABV Saison brewed with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. The beer is brewed three times, once at each brewery using the same recipe. The expected release dates for each brew are as follows:
Dogfish Head - 2014, 2017 release
Victory Brewing - 2015 release
Stone Brewing Co.- 2016 release
The beers, once released will be distributed by each brewery's distribution partners. Please check with each brewery about availabilty of their Saison du BUFF.

Padraig Pearse was a schoolteacher and poet who helped lead the Irish Rebellion against the crown in 1916 in the heart of Dublin.  To honor him, we crafted a flavorful spirit that proves that powerful punches can come from unexpected places.  Padraig Rebellion Poitin is crafted in Kansas City from four varieties of malt, then triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills.

Solence Cotes du Ventoux

Organic
Certified by Ecocert

Cotes du Ventoux is back in stock.
2011 Solence Les Trois Pers Cotes du Ventoux...$14.99
The grapes are hand-harvested, de-stemmed, crushed, and then vinified by parcel. Only natural, indigenous yeasts are used to make the wines at Solence. Each year different plots of vines are selected to produce a wine that achieves a balance between the influence of their old vines and the influence of the terroir. The exact determination of the blend is not made until the date of harvest. The “Trois Pères” is a complex, full-bodied Rhône wine. The nose is spicy with garrige and black cherry notes. In the mouth the wine is dominated by briary, black raspberry flavors that are complemented by cassis and black pepper notes. This wine is nicely balanced with firm, but ripe, tannins. It is a perfect companion to grilled meats and game.

Costieres de Nimes at its finest!!!

New vintage just hit....

2015 Chateau Virgile Costières de Nîmes Rouge...$11.99
Syrah 60%, Grenache 30% Mourvèdre 10%
This wine really shows off the great terroir at Château Virgile. The vines, situated at the edge of a plateau in very deep gravel, produce dark, concentrated wines. The grapes are destemmed and vinified in tank, where the wine undergoes several “pump-overs” and one or two “delestages” during fermentation. The Château Virgile Rouge does not spend any time in oak, and is lightly fined and filtered before bottling.
Tasting Notes: Château Virgile is an exceptional rich and concentrated example of a Costières de Nîmes. The nose is intense with black fruit aromas complimented with hints of garrigue spice and olive notes. In the mouth the wine is dominated by dense black cherry, plum, and cassis fruit flavors from the Syrah. The finish is complimented by hints of black pepper and red cherry notes from the Grenache. The Mourvèdre helps to provide the ripe tannins that give this wine its structure. This wine is ideal for grilled meats, game, and barbeque
