As part of our St. Louis Stray Rescue Adoption Day, Rick Ankiel Wine, Pappy's BBQ and Beer Tasting. We have a very special treat for beer lovers. You get a chance to taste and vote on two beers and decide which will join the Samuel Adams lineup of beer in 2010. Be the first to try these beers and vote. Saturday August 15 from 11am-1pm.

One of these two styles will be added to our Award Winning Samuel Adams Family of beers in January 2010!

Samuel Adams Pils
Brewed with a blend of 5 Noble Hop varieties from each of the world's only remaining Noble Hops growing regions.
Similar to a traditional Czech Pilsner, our Samuel Adams Pils is brewed with a blend of 5 Noble Hop Varieties from each of the world's only remaing Noble Hop growing regions. The spicy herbal and citrus hop character is well balanced by the Weyermann Bohemian Pilsner malt, adding honeyed malt character and full body without additional sweetness.

Samuel Adams Ale
Dry Hopped with Anthamum, Simcoe and East Kent Golding Hops for a powerful fruity and piney earthy aroma.
This IPA style Ale is brewed with a carefully selected blend of hops from top German, English and American growing regions. It is dry hopped with Anthamum, Simcoe, and East kent Golding Hops for a powerful fruity and earthy aroms. The intense hop character is balanced by the old German style malt lending a unique sweetness, full body and tart finish.

Mom's Original Chocolate Pretzels will be sampling from 11:00-1:00

A clown will also be on hand for the kids

Pappy's will supply pulled pork sandwiches (from 11am until we run out). with 100% of the proceeds being donated to St. Louis Stray Rescue. Pappy's is the best BBQ in St. Louis. Stray Rescue is providing a tent for the day for the pets and will have a combination of items for sale like Stray Rescue apparel and merchandise( t-shirts, ball caps, Randy Grim's book), Rick Ankiel autographed baseballs, etc. I am told there will be snow cones and a possibly a clown for the kids.



Plus of course we will have Rick Ankiel's Autographed wine available for sale inside the store.
(25% of the sale of the autographed Rick Ankiel wine goes to Stray Rescue)
