E. Traber Cremant d'Alsace Brut....$27.99Pinot Blanc (50 %), Pinot Auxerrois (30 %), Pinot Gris (10 %), Chardonnay (10 %)
The E. Traber Crémant d'Alsace Brut is an elegant sparkling wine with a fine bubbles and a light, straw yellow color. On the nose it has aromas of green apples, citrus fruits and a light note of brioche. On the palate it is dry, but still fresh and fruity with a pleasant acidity and a long finish. This crémant is excellent as an aperitif and also goes well with seafood, fish dishes and light starters.
The E. Traber Crémant d'Alsace Brut is produced by the Traber family in Alsace, France. The grapes are harvested by hand and come from the region's vineyards, which are characterized by a continental climate with hot summers and cold winters. The soil is mainly limestone, clay and slate, which gives the wine its mineral notes. Grape varieties: The Pinot Blanc, Pinot Auxerrois and Chardonnay grapes are used for this Crémant d'Alsace. The grapes are gently pressed and, after fermentation in the bottle, stored on the lees for at least 12 months to develop more creaminess and complex aromas.
