An exquisite marriage of Colombard and Sauvignon combine for a flavorful and refreshing wine with strong citrus (grapefruit, pineapple) and floral aromas (from the surrounding 75 acres of fields & meadows) on the nose. Cool temperature fermentations to release those aromas and reveal the intensity of the fruit.
This wine is an excellent choice for sushi and other shellfish. The fruitiness of this wine makes it a perfect offset for Moroccan style couscous dishes and tagines, as well as spicy Indian food. Grapes are harvested when it’s cooler, in fully ripe. Wine making : After destemming, berries are macerated during a few hours, and then are slowly pressed. Then, the derived pressed must is put into thermoregulated stainless steel vats, and fermentation will go on for 10 days or so. Once fermentation is over, wine is matured on lees before bottling.
This rosé wine shows a redcurrant colored robe with light reflections. It has very deep fruit aromas including cherry, raspberry and black berry. Well-structured on the palate, this wine is both nicely full-bodied and delightfully fruity. Wine and food pairing : bbq chicken skewers, paella, pizza and much more.

Early morning picking and cold temperature fermentation to preserve freshness. Piquepoul is a grape that needs heat and sunshine to ripen nicely. However it requires cool temperature fermentation to express its crisp and powerful aromatic profile. It’s important to know that Piquepoul grows in a warm and dry climate, close to the Mediterranean sea. They are considered the largest Thau Basin port, known for its white wines which pair perfectly with oysters is ideal for sipping outside on a terrace.

Could easily be confused for a Chateauneuf du Pape. Floral notes accent fresh mixed berries in this 2021 Cotes du Rhone Villages that is made from a heavy portion of Old Vine Syrah along with Grenache and Mourvedre. The Syrah dominates and leads to a full-bodied wine but with silky tannins. It has a slight pepperiness to add some dimension and complexity. This wine is produced by the third generation on this estate and it is a fruit driven Cotes du Rhone with great roundness and complexity. A big wine!!

Based on Touriga Franca with Touriga Nacional and Sousão. Tight-knit, with firm, rapier-like tannins on the palate – a ramrod all the way through with the opulence and flesh of the fruit on the finish. Fine-grained with great purity and expression. Leaner and much more restrained in style than others: the drier style of Dow works really well in ripe years such as 2016 (as it did in 2011). Outstanding wine for the long term.

The 2016 Dow’s Vintage Port is based around the vineyard behind Bomfim, populated predominantly by mature Touriga Franca vines that were cropped at just 0.68kg per vine. It has a quite astonishing bouquet with layer upon layer of intense black cherry and cassis fruit, touches of clove, leather and a hint of over-ripe Satsuma. This is a mercurial bouquet that keeps changing in the glass, revealing smoky/burning ember scents with time. The palate is quite magnificent – perfectly balanced with a killer thread of acidity slicing through such pure intense black fruit that there is no heaviness at all. There is a sense of thrust on the finish as it fans out with almost careless abandon, a Vintage Port so self-assured that you can only sit back in amazement. Simply one of the best Dow’s ever made.
