This blend of the region’s two most iconic grapes, Alvarinho & Trajadura, sets itself apart from the rest with an intensely mineral profile that is simultaneously refined and surprisingly elegant. Floral and orange peel nuances, reveal great purity in this young green wine. The typical thiol notes of cold climate Sauvignon (passion fruit, grapefruit, currant, cassis) are complemented by aromatic notes of ripe fruit (melon, pineapple). On the backside, interesting terpene family scents appear: black tea leaves, mint leaves and anise accompanied by citrus fruits such as lemon and orange peel. Perhaps this 2023 is one of the most complete versions of our iconic SB Reserva.

Great White Bordeaux!
This white wine combines richness and finesse. The nose is fresh with hints of exotic fruit and pink grapefruit. The palate is both smooth and bright with nice aromatic length. This wine is very fresh on the nose with the classic Sauvignon characteristics of gooseberries. Dry and full bodied, its finish is long and mellow with just a hint of citrus. The wine is made with very low yields from 25 year old vines. This crisp, summery white wine is an excellent pair with oysters, asparagus side dishes, grilled fish, lean white meats and hard cheeses.

The shiny golden robe gives place to an elegant nose of ripe peach and apricot with a hint of white flower and soft cinnamon spice aromas. The limestone and flinty siliceous soil impart somewhat of a gun-flinty quality on the nose. On the palate, the attack is fresh and supple with great volume and complexity mid-palate.
The minerality in this Pouilly Fume pair nicely with shrimp and other creamy seafood or pasta dishes as well as with pesto crostini or herbed goat cheese appetizers. It also pairs well with  baked ham or even a ham sandwich with mustard…preferably French;) Perfect for Easter
