Pegau Cotes du Rhone

These are actually hard to get Cotes du Rhone wines!
They do not make a lot and they are very sought after!

2020 Chateau Pagau Maclura Cotes du Rhone Rouge...$22.99
  • Grenache 60%
  • Syrah 20%
  • Mourvèdre 10%
  • Cinsault 10%
A pretty complex nose of cherries, berries, dried herbs, cola and baking spices. It’s medium-bodied with finely grained tannins. Round and juicy with a bright core of cherries and some chocolate undertones towards the finish. Balanced and delicious with a vivid finish. Drink or hold.
Rated 92/100 James Suckling

2020 Chateau Pegau Cotes du Rhone Villages Setier...$24.99
Only 350 cases imported
  • Grenache 60%
  • Syrah 20%
  • Mourvèdre 20%
A step up, the 2020 Côtes Du Rhône Villages Cuvée Setier offers more purity and elegance, with a great nose of ripe darker, almost black fruits, pepper, leather, and herbes de Provence. This medium-bodied, pure, seamless, terrifically balanced 2020 is perfect for drinking any time over the coming 7-8 years.
Rated 91/100 Jeb Dunnuck

A cuvée offering a concentrated nose of cassis, licorice, black cherry and tar, with ripe, well-structured tannins, intense fruit, and a long, lingering finish.  A food-friendly wine that is especially good with bold, flavorful red meat preparations such as pepper-rubbed steak and lamb tagine.
