2016 Puydeval Red Blend...$15.99
Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Merlot
The 2016 Languedoc Puydeval checks in as a blend of 56% Cabernet Franc, 37% Syrah, and 7% Merlot sourced all from Limoux and the western regions of the Minervois. It offers more freshness and elegance than past vintages and has loads of black fruits, toasted spice, asphalt, and gravelly minerality. With medium-bodied richness, a good mid-palate, and present tannin on the finish, it’s a big, rich, steakhouse red that has tons to love.

2018 Penya Rouge Cotes Catalanes...$12.99
Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and Mourvèdre
Importer Dan Kravitz commented that the blend of the 2017 Côtes Catalanes was his favorite to date, and he's been doing this cuvée since 1991. Made from Grenache Carignan Syrah and Mourvèdre, it has a beautifully pure bouquet of cassis, ground pepper, violets, and spice. Juicy, medium to full-bodied, rounded, and textured on the palate, it's going to be another terrific vintage for this wine, as well as a smoking value.
2017 Guardian Chalk Line Red Blend...$22.99
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot
Guardian Cellars Chalk Line 2017. This Washington blend is Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Right from the beginning this wine exudes ripe wild blackberry and plum jam. These dark fruit notes are soon joined by the sweet notes of vanilla latte and roasted coffee along with some black pepper spice.
2017 Intrinsic Red Blend....$18.99
Malbec and Cabernet Franc
Each variety is fermented on the other’s skins in a twist of technique. The swagger here is palpable and the deep dark berries are laced with flowers and delivered in pure, unadulterated form. So good! A blend of 51% malbec and 49% cabernet franc. Drink now.

The Grenache vines range from 55 to 100 years old. The Carignan vines are 82 years old, while his Syrah vines range from 30 to 50 years old. This in an unusually rich and complex Côtes du Rhône. Each year Vincent has incrementally increased the percentage of Grenache in his Côtes du Rhône. This year the wine is now 70% Grenache. This blend further accentuates the bright red cherry fruit in the wine. His old vine Carignan adds a complex peppery spice component, while the adds rich black fruit flavors.
