We taste a lot of wines, and most do not make the cut. We recently tasted a bunch of new wines, this one stood out as the best of the lot! Great bottle!!
2016 Prat Sura Vacqueyras La Cuvee...$34.99
Based on 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, the 2016 Vacqueyras La Cuvée is another inky colored effort that has a modern slant yet is beautifully done. Blackberries, cassis, roasted herbs, chocolate, and gravelly mineral notes all emerge from this rockingly textured, balanced, full-bodied effort. It's more rounded and sexier than the Réserve cuvée yet should keep just as long.
