Commanderie of Bargemone Rosé

Half price Rose!
This 2016 is half price!  Our distributor wanted to move it and we scooped it up after tasting it.  As you can see from the reviews, it had high acidity on release which gave it the ability to age.  Still delicious!
Great value!

2016 Commanderie of Bargemone Rosé...$9.99
Was $19.99
A year in, year out stellar bottle of Rosé, the 2016 Coteaux d’Aix en Provence is another winner. White grapefruit, tangerine and citrus all emerge from this juicy, refreshing, deliciously crisp Rosé that has vibrant acidity. This release has racy acidity, yet the fat of the 2016 vintage and a terrific layer of fruit.

Light bright orange. Mineral-accented citrus fruit and red berry scents show very good clarity and pick up a suave floral note with aeration. Chewy and tightly wound, offering juicy cherry and red currant flavors that slowly put on weight as the wine stretches out. Shows good tension and cut on the finish, which lingers with strong, minerally persistence.

The origins of this estate go back to the 13th century when it was the property of the Knights Templar. The large 400-acre vineyard has produced this fine rich wine, full of ripe red fruits and with a bright herbal edge. It is bone dry, crisp and ready to drink.
