Great 2017 CDR - Prefert!

"Under the guidance of Isabel Ferrando, who burst onto the scene in 2003, Domaine Saint Prefert has leapt into the handful of top estates in Châteauneuf du Pape." - The Wine Advocate

Yields were tiny in 2017 for the Southern Rhone, but the quality was excellent - here is your chance to experience the vintage and judge for yourself.
"The southern swath of France's Rhône Valley has been on a roll, with superlative vintages in terms of both quality and quantity in 2015 and 2016. 2017 looks to continue that trend on one count: quality." - The Wine Spectator

Domaine Saint Prefert Clos Beatus Ille Cotes du Rhone..$26.99
85% Grenache and 15% Cinsault
Isabel Ferrando, owner and winemaker at Saint Prefert, has long been known as a trailblazer. This wine comes from the La Lionne Vineyard, in the Sorgues district. This wine is bottles unfiltered.  2017 was a great vintage for Southern Rhone, but the yields were tiny and quantities will be small.
