Wrexham Lager is now available in the US for the first time in its history.
Historic Background:
Founded in 1882 in Wrexham, North Wales, by German immigrants Ivan Levinstein and Otto Isler. Among the first UK breweries to produce lager, influenced by continental brewing techniques.
Wrexham Lager ceased production in 2002, and the brewery was demolished. The original Brewhouse (now Grade II listed) remains as the only surviving structure. Revived by the Roberts family in 2011 to preserve local history.
New Ownership: Rob McElhenney, Ryan Reynolds, and the Allyn family joined as co-owners in October, alongside the Roberts family.
