Our historic blend of the Hudson and Hyde vineyards is augmented in 2022 with fruit from the spectacular Coombsville estate planted by Warren Winiarski for a wine of both energy and opulence. In line with the previous bottlings, the wine is defined by the tension of citrus and honeyed aromas over a vibrant, saline, mineral finish. When Robert Parker was visiting, he called this the Bâtard-Montrachet of Napa.

2023 Kongsgaard Napa Valley Estate White....$249.99
The 2023 Estate White is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and Chardonnay, all organically farmed fruit from the Atlas Peak estate, co-fermented. The 2023 was fermented in equal parts neutral oak and amphora. Rich and beautifully layered in the glass, the Estate possesses striking textural depth from start to finish. Dried pear, chamomile, white flowers, mint and sage build, leading into the dense, phenolic finish. Leave it to John and Alex Kongsgaard to redefine what white wine can be in Napa Valley.
