This whisky is aged to perfection in Japanese Mizunara Oak casks for 6 years, then an additional two years in Caribbean JM Rhum agricole barrels. These unique agricole barrels infuses the whisky with a marriage of tropical sweetness and robust oakiness, creating a drinkable spirit that is complex yet smooth. On the nose, it is full of notes of crisp malt and golden raisins, followed by subtle hints of ripe tropical fruits and sweet oak. On the palate, there is a richness of toasted oak.
