Falesco Vitiano Rosso

"This wine represents one of the best values in Italian wine, and I really can't imagine how the Cotarella family manages to get so much quality at this super competitive price" - The Wine Advocate

2018 Falesco Vitiano Rosso...$9.99
This blend of 34% Sangiovese, 33% Merlot, and 33% Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a stark, earthy profile. Tobacco, espresso, and balsamic lead the way to sinewy black cherry that threads its way through the wine’s dark passages

This wine represents one of the best values in Italian wine, and I really can't imagine how the Cotarella family manages to get so much quality at this super competitive price. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese, the Falesco Famiglia Cotarella 2018 Vitiano Rosso represents an ample production of 800,000 bottles. Indeed, most of the fruit from the family's Umbrian vineyard holdings end up in this production. This informal but elegant mid-weight red offers plenty of cherry fruit, spice and balanced touches of tobacco and spice.
