Blend of two rums Worthy Park and Hampden
Papalin is a celebration of rum blends. The Papalin project began in October 2013 with the first edition of Caroni from Trinidad blended with some old rum stock from Cuba and Venezuela. In 2022, the Papalin brand has been revived with the second release: Papalin Jamaica 7 Years Old. Jamaica has a long history of rum production, historically favored and valued by the blender and bottler market for over 300 years. In the European rum blending traditions of the past and present, fresh unaged rum has been shipped out of the Caribbean and aged and blended in the European continental climate. Papalin is the first brand of blended rum to be aged entirely in the tropical climate of the respective warehouses of the distilleries themselves: Worthy Park and Hampden Estate. These vatted rums (blends of different pot stills) show their complex and compelling nature having been matured at their source. The quality of the liquid reflects the care and expertise of the production and cellar management teams.
Papalin Jamaica 7 years old is bottled at 47% ABV and offers a perfect introduction to the style of the Jamaican rum. It it balanced and easy to enjoy with approachable complexity and intriguing depth - whether it is enjoyed neat, on the rocks or mixed into cocktails.

A blend of rums from Sajous, Vaval, Casimir, Le Rocher, and Port-au-Prince.
All aged in a combo of ex-cognac, bourbon, whisky, and Caroni barrels.
Papalin is a project dedicated to blends conceived by Luca Gargano, with the aim of bringing together rums from Caribbean islands that have been entirely produced and aged at distilleries. After the release dedicated to Jamaica, the spotlight shifts to Haiti, with a rum produced from a blend from 5 different distilleries: Sajous, Vaval, Casimir, Distillerie de Port-au-Prince and Le Rocher, for a total of 32 selected casks, all entirely aged in a tropical climate. The casks are ex-cognac, ex-bourbon, ex-carbon and ex-whisky.
