Old Port rum is produced from 100% molasses sourced from native Indian sugar cane. It is aged in a combination of ex whisky barrels and new oak.
It is currently the 7th largest selling rum in the world. A fun, flavourful and exotic dark rum that will make brilliant cocktails and tiki drinks.
Old Port Rum has been massively popular in the world of rum drinkers and has received high marks across the board. The beverage testing institute awarded Old Port Rum 90 points, calling it “exceptional”. Ultimate spirits challenge in 2014 gave the rum 91 points and described it as “excellent, highly recommended”. It has also received a gold medal for the International Review of Spirits Award. In 2019 it received silver in the Bartender Spirits Awards. Finally, the most recent 2020 report from The Spirits Business coined it the 7th largest selling rum in the world.
