The cherries are tart cherries, grown at Sunny Crest Farm here in Londonderry New Hampshire, just a few miles down the road from the Meadery.
Note: The use of "Honey Wine" and "Mead" may be prefaced with the type of Fruit used... so a Cherry Mead is a wine that was fermented from cherries, and honey.
