McManis Petit Verdot...$10.99
Estate Grown
Our Petit Verdot is deep purple in the glass and a symphony on the nose. Notes of blackberry, blueberry, mocha, and smoke lead the way to rich, dense, dark fruit on the palate. The wine finishes long & elegantly with smooth, rounded tannins.
Harvest and Production Notes:
The fruit for our Petit Verdot is generally harvested between September and October with an average Brix of 26.0. After 7-9 days of fermentation on the skins, the resulting wine was pressed and finished fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine was then aged on new and used French and American Oak for 4-6 months.
