Saracco Moscato D'Asti

"The DRC of Moscato D'Asti".  DRC stands for Domaine Romanee Conti - the most sought after wine in Burgundy and maybe from anywhere.  It is considered the best of the best! (DRC sells for $10,000 per bottle)

2017 Paolo Saracco Moscato D'Asti....$15.99
Bright golden straw-yellow. Perfumed aromas of white peach, orange blossom, lime cordial, sage and jasmine. Boasts excellent energy and grip to the flavors of fresh pomaceous orchard fruit and sweet spices. Finishes very long and bright, with strong hints of fresh citrus fruit and vanilla cream. A very successful 2017 Moscato d’Asti in what was a hot year, and a benchmark example of what Paolo Saracco can achieve with this variety. For my money, this estate is the DRC of Moscato d’Asti.
Rated 93/100 Vinous
