2016 Olivier Leflaive

2016 Olivier Leflaive's in stock
now at Forsyth!
Few names are more linked to a region and style than Leflaive and White Burgundy. It's always exciting when the Burgundy Pre-Sells start to roll in. We saw just a taste of the amazing quality of the 2016 Vintage a few weeks back with the arrival of the 2016 Faiveley Mercurey. We now get a taste of the quality of the Cote de Beaune White Burgs.

2016 Olivier Leflaive Bourgogne Blanc Les Setilles...$23.99
Les Setilles is sourced from vineyards within the communes of Puligny Montrachet and Meursault, with each village representing roughly half of the final blend. Grapes are sourced from multiple plots within each village in an effort to maximize complexity of the final wine.
Rated 91/100 James Suckling
2016 Olivier Leflaive Meursault....$37.99 / 375ml
2016 Olivier Leflaive Meursault....$69.99 / 750ml

The density and richness to this wine is outstanding. Sliced apples, pineapples and straw. Medium- to full-bodied, dense and brightly acidic. Excellent depth. Drink and enjoy on release.
Rated 93-94/100 James Suckling

2016 Olivier Leflaive Puligny Montrachet....$71.99
This is a real Puligny with lemons and cooked apples. Hints of straw and limestone. Full- to medium-bodied, layered and clean. Bright finish. A beauty. Savory and salt at the end. Drink now.

2016 Olivier Leflaive Meursault Charmes 1er Cru....$102.99
This is really tight and compacted with beautiful sliced apples, pears and spices. Palate is compacted and focused. Extremely long and flavorful. Class. Drink or hold on release.
