2016 Guiberteau Saumur Blanc....$23.99
Variety: Chenin Blanc
Vine Age: Planted from 1935-2012
Terroir: Clay, limestone soil
Viticulture: Organic
Pressing of whole clusters, indigenous yeast fermentation in tank. Aging on fine lees in tank, light filtration.  The grapes come from younger vines in Clos des Carmes and Clos de Guichaux, and older vines on the bottom of the hill of Brézé.
Pruning method is Guyau Val de Loire. 5,500 vines are planted per hectare. Maximum average yield is 45 hl per hectare.







2015 Guiberteau Saumur Blanc Clos de Guichaux...$37.99
Variety: Chenin Blanc
Vine Age: Planted in 2003
Terroir: Bizay, silt and sand soils on relatively soft limestone bedrock
Viticulture: Organic
Gentle pressing of whole clusters, no chaptalization, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and 9 months aging in older barrels (2 to 4 years).  This vineyard, a monopole of the domaine, is planted with a density of 5,500 vines per hectare and the maximum yield is 45 hl per hectare. The average production for this cuvée is 500 cases.






2014 Domaine Guiberteau Saumur Blanc Breze...$54.99
Variety: Chenin Blanc
Vine Age: Planted 1933, 1952
Terroir: Sand and clay, soft limestone base soils.
Viticulture: Organic
Pressing of whole clusters. Natural yeast fermentation in oak barrels (new, 1-2 year old). 18 months aging on fine lees in barrel.   From two old vine parcels, the pruning method is Guyau Val de Loire. Vineyards are planted with a density of 5,500 vines per hectare and the maximum yield is 35 hl per hectare.
Production: about 450 cases.



2016 Guiberteau Saumur Rouge....$25.99
Variety: Cabernet Franc
Vine Age: Planted 1955-1957
Terroir: 3 parcels, silt and sand topsoils covering soft limestone
Viticulture: Organic
Vinification: 100% de-stemming, maceration in concrete tanks for 10-60 days. Natural yeast fermentation and aging in tank for 6 months.    Pruning method is Guyau Val de Loire. Vineyards are planted with a density of 5,500 vines per hectare. The maximum yield is 40-50 hl per hectare.
Approximately 1,040 cases produced.



2014 Guiberteau Saumur Rouge Les Arboises Monopole...$54.99
Variety: Cabernet Franc
Vine Age: Planted in 1957
Terroir: Hill of Brézé, south-facing, sand and silt topsoils over limestone
Viticulture: Organic
100% de-stemmed, 10 days to 4 weeks maceration in concrete tanks. Natural yeast alcoholic fermentation. 18 months aging in oak barrels (80% new, 20% 1 year old), unfiltered.   In the vineyard, the pruning method is Guyau Val de Loire. Vineyards are planted with a density of 5,500 vines per hectare. The maximum yield is 30 hl per hectare.
Less than 60 cases produced.
