Press release from Surly's website!
If you were one of the fortunate Boulevardia attendees who stopped by our booth and chatted up Jerrod, this is old news, but if not: We are very pleased to announce that Surly is adding Missouri to its distribution footprint.
*Gives everyone from St. Joseph to Cape Girardeau time to pump their fists and yell “Goddamn right you are” at their computer screen or phone*
Here is the relevant data:
Launching across the entire state in the first week of August (technically Monday, July 31, but it’s a big state, so give us some time).
We’ll be doing in-market launch parties that first week, stay tuned for locations.
St. Louis and Kansas City: We are not taking sides in any arguments about the 1985 World Series.
The first wave of beers will be:
“A lot of people at Boulevardia were asking when we’re coming to Missouri,” says Surly owner Omar Ansari. “It was nice to be able to say, ‘Does August work for you?’ We are absolutely thrilled to bring Surly to Missouri.”
