The 2013 Heritage is a beauty. Supple, well-integrated, velvety tannins, sweet black and red currant fruit, some cedar wood, earth and spice are all present in this full-bodied, complex, red. Although Bordeaux-inspired, the ripeness and purity of fruit clearly suggest Northern California. The color is opaque ruby purple, and the wine full-bodied and approachable now, although it should drink well for at least 20 or more years.
