An amazing value, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma exhibits beautiful winemaking as well. Offering blackcurrant fruit, some cedar wood, spice box, supple tannins, medium to full body and a dense ruby/purple color, this is another beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon, not quite as compelling as the Old Vine or Gravel Bed, but a full-bodied, mouth-filling, terrific example of Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma. Drink it over the next 15 or more years.

If you haven’t noticed the qualitative efforts by winemaker Mark Lyon and the Sebastiani team over the last decade or more, it’s time to take notice. Not only are the wines realistically priced, but the quality is very impressive, and some great values can be found.
