The Duncan Taylor Tantalus
The Duncan Taylor Tantalus contains a unique collection of single malt and single grain whiskies matured to 30 years and above in the vaults of some of Scotland’s premium Distilleries where they were produced. The range encompasses full maturation in many differing oak casks which previously held Bourbon, Sherry or Port, and is bottled at natural cask strength and unfettered by chilled-filtration.

One of the most sought after distilleries in Scotland because it is no longer in existence. The Scotch was produced in its LAST YEAR before it was mothballed. Port Ellen Distillery from Islay closed in 1983. This Cask #671 is one a a 30 Year old that could be one of the last you will find from this distillery. We were only able to obtain 1 bottle.

Another distillery that was mothballed in 1983, Banff scotches are extremely rare now. In a hand blown bottle and the wood case is made from the cask in which the whisky was matured.
