Liquid Farm - Limited Chardonnays

2012 Liquid Farm Chardonnay "Four"...$73.99
Even better, and my favorite in the lineup, the 2012 Chardonnay Four is 40% from Clos Pepe, 40% From Rita’s Crown, 12% from Bent Rock and the balance from Zotovich. Fermented and aged 13 months in 25% new French oak, it’s made in a rich, ripe style and dishes out loads of white peach, apple blossom, brioche, creme and spice to go with a medium to full-bodied, awesomely textured style on the palate. The acidity is perfectly integrated and it has fabulous purity of fruit, all of which suggest it will drink nicely for 3-4 years, possibly longer.

2012 Liquid Farm Chardonnay Golden Slope....$51.99
Slightly darker in color (but still light gold), the smoking 2012 Chardonnay Golden Slope offers fabulous apple blossom, citrus and building toasty, creamy and spice aromas and flavors to go with a medium-bodied, rich and layered style on the palate. Seeing 13 months in 15% new French oak (the balance in neutral), this is a rock-star Cali Chardonnay that will drink nicely for 3-4 years.

2012 Liquid Farm Chardonnay White Hill...$46.99
A classy effort that comes from a number of vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, the 2012 Chardonnay White Hill dishes up loads of citrus blossom, crushed rock-like minerality, white flowers and hints of peach in its medium-bodied, clean, pure and elegant character. Spending 10 months in 85% neutral oak and 15% in stainless steel, enjoy it over the coming couple of years.
Rated 90/100 The Wine Advocate
