With a deep passion for cooking we approached distilling like a fine chef would create a recipe. Wanting to combine old school artistry and technique with new school creative flair we created MOVADOS. Years in the making the recipe came together with a vision for a complete new taste and complexity not found in other spirits. The freshest local apples are crushed and then UV pasteurized to avoid any flavor loss. Add sugarcane to further sweeten the cold mash and you have the foundation of MOVADOS fermentation. A layer of steel cut oats added to the top of the mash tank slowly sink throughout the 3 week mash fermentation and adds a rounded out baked like feel on the pallet. The addition of lemon, rosemary, and several other spices to the mash give MOVADOS a finish that is completely unique and absolutely delicious. It is then aged for a minimum of 8 months to a year to reach its full flavor profile.
