SHERIDAN VINEYARDS
2011 Sheridan Cabrnet Sauvignon...$23.99
Also a solid value, the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon is more focused and reserved than the Mystique and delivers classic black currant, chocolate, cedar and herb aromas and flavors as well as a medium to full-bodied, balanced mouthfeel. Just bottled at the time of this tasting, it will most likely put on weight in the next year or so and drink nicely for 7-8 years. It’s a rock solid bottle of wine that sells for a song.
EFESTE VINEYARDS
2010 Efeste Final Final
Another superb effort and a rocking value, the 2010 Final-Final is a blend of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon and 41% Syrah, from a variety of vineyards throughout the state, that was aged in one-third new French oak prior to being bottled unfined and unfiltered. Loaded with notions of mulled spices, tobacco, smoked herbs and black currants, it is a full-bodied, super rich wine that possesses remarkable purity and precision for a wine of its size. Drink it over the coming 4-5 years. Drink now-2018.

2010 Sheridan Mystique
A great value you must try!
A blend of Merlot with 30% Cabernet Franc and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 17 months entirely in once-used barriques...Dark berries and tobacco come to the fore as this takes on air and lend sweet savor and a modicum of primary juiciness."

2010 Efeste Big Papa...$49.99
At the top of heap, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Big Papa - Old Block is all Cabernet and spent 20 months in 80% new French oak. Incredibly rich, layered and pure, it boasts first-rate aromas and flavors of creme de cassis, toasted bread, coffee bean and mint as well as a full-bodied, elegant and thrillingly textured mouthfeel. The quality of tannin here is superb and while already approachable, this beauty will continue to shine for another 10-12 years. Drink now-2025.
