A light, blond ale brewed with both barley and wheat malts which give a light biscuity backdrop to the taste of the beer. The subtle bitterness comes from the Brambling Cross hops that add a slightly spicy note to the flavour and, combined with Cascade and Centennial hops, give a citrus aroma with hints of blackcurrant. The mouth-feel is light which leads to a refreshing beer that, in typical Burton fashion, balanced the sweet malty flavour with the subtle bitterness in this distinctive ale.
