This wine is farmed biodynamically although the vineyard is not certified. The 2010 Parral is a blend of 40% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Bonarda that is aged in American and French oak. It has a very attractive, almost earthy bouquet with mulberry, raspberry leaf and a touch of wild mint. The palate is medium-bodied with a grainy entry, with dark plum and dried blood inflecting the black fruit. It is a little short on the finish, but is very fresh and focused. Drink now-2016.
