Menebrea Top Restaurant Amber 7.5....$9.99 / 750ml

"The Menabrea brewery was founded in 1846 by John Joseph Menabrea of Gresoney, who built his brewery in Biella at the foothills of the Alps. The brewery has survived two World Wars and, having been passed from father to son for several generations, it is still managed by the same family today. Devoted to quality, Menabrea is an Italian micro-brewery, roughly producing in a year the same amount the large breweries produce in only a few days. The beer making process at Menabrea is kept very traditional and all beers age a minimum of 45 days before bottling. Most of its ancient cellars, where fermentation and aging take place in Slovenian oak, are located underground. Italy’s oldest brewery is world-renowned for beer of the highest quality and tradition, using pure water from the Alps that flows naturally to the brewery. Menabrea is made with the highest quality barley and hops and their slow brewing process has assisted Menabrea in becoming a three-time winner of the Gold medal at the World Beer Championships as the best pale lager."
