"From Wikipedia (http://www.wikipedia.com/): "Draupnir is a golden arm ring possessed by Odin, the highest god in Norse mythology. The ring was a source of endless wealth, since each ninth morning it spawned eight more gold rings just like itself. Draupnir was forged by the dwarven brothers Brokkr and Eitri (or Sindri) ..."The beers of the Vikings and ingredients used in Viking times were the inspiration for Draupnir.
It is a clear golden top-fermented beer with a nice lasting head. It is brewed with pale ale, munich, and wheat malt, which gives the beer a fresh mouthfeel with a discreet malt sweetness. Draupnir is moderately hopped with English Challenger hops and spiced with pine needles, sloe berries and honey.Draupnir is a perfect fit with meat or grilled fish as well as salads." -- importer
