As part of our ongoing support of Mexican culture, the Jose Cuervo family commissions a Mexico-based artist to design original artwork for the collector’s box each year.
Ana Segovia is a contemporary artist based in Mexico known for her vibrant visual language that reimagines traditional gender roles and uses bold, often “forbidden” hues. Her 2025 artwork for Reserva de la Familia—titled “No Señorita, Esos Colores son Prohibidos”—draws inspiration from traditional Mexican charrería attire and cultural symbols, blending heritage with modern artistic expression. Her design encourages reflection on identity, tradition, and cultural iconography by juxtaposing classic elements (like charro suits) with unexpected palettes
