APPROACH: With the 6th release of Frank August's multi-award-winning CASE STUDY series, CASE STUDY: 06 | LEGACY RESERVE | 6 BARREL BATCH, the brand sought to honor the heritage of Kentucky bourbon by blending the past and present; literally and philosophically. Comprised of 9x, six-barrel batches of 8, 9, and 10-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskeys, this release represents a thoughtful dialogue between three of Kentucky's most storied legacy distilleries.
Rather than showcasing a single origin or finish, the intent was to explore how time, place, and tradition converge when approached through a thoughtful lens of blending.
