100% Estate grown Syrah, Deep purple. Aromatics are wild with simmering blueberry compote, candied lavender and black currant. Smells like a fresh pot of French roast. The palate is intense, dark and alluring showing soy sauce, five spice and dried ginger.
Savory notes are complimented by the hallmark flavors of blueberry/huckleberry mid palate. Perfumed and floral, yet deep, rich and powerful display the yin/yang of this smoking Syrah. Big, bold and generous, the 2020 Singularity, made entirely from 100% Syrah, offers gobs of smoked black raspberry essences with peppercorn notes, smoked lavender and cured sausages. The palate is full-bodied, firm and expressive, with plenty of accessible fruits and spicy nuances. As you continue to sip, you'll notice layers of bitter dark chocolate and black raspberry with savory notes before giving way to fine-grained tannins and succulent acidity. The finish shows precision with incredible length, offering a kiss of volatility with a touch of char. The wine aged for just over two years in 50% new French oak barrels.
