2023 Comte de Langeron Coteaux Bourguignons Blanc...$25.99
90% Chardonnay
10% Aligote
A blend of Chardonnay and Aligoté of which most is matured in stainless steel. It has a great Burgundy nose with a touch of minerality that comes from the Aligote. Great flavors of tart apples and a steely acidity finishes off this great wine. Highly recommended and very limited production. The wine expresses minerality and length on the palate with a nice balance of acidity on the finish. This is a great aperitif wine but it also pairs well with pasta, cured meats, pork, chicken, rich fish like salmon and tuna as well as soft, mild cheeses.
2024 John’s Bay Sauvignon Blanc...$11.99
The 2024 John’s Bay Sauvignon Blanc continues the tradition of delivering outstanding value and vibrant flavor from Chile’s Central Valley. This vintage leaps from the glass with zesty lime, juicy gooseberry, and tropical guava, finishing crisp and refreshing with a lively acidity that makes it perfect for warm-weather sipping. Crafted with cool fermentation and a short period on the lees for added texture, it’s a clean, fruit-forward white that shines with seafood, salads, and light fare. Previous vintages have earned 90 points from The Tasting Panel and praise from The Washington Post for their freshness and approachability—expect the 2024 release to deliver the same award-winning quality at an everyday price.
2022 Thorn Clarke Single Vineyard Malbec...$25.99
100% Malbec
Barossa Valley, Australia
Age of vines: 30 years
Blackberry compote - with distinctive spice aromas of clove, peppercorn and star anise - open this Malbec, a variety rarely seen on its own Down Under. It’s underpinned by something more floral and also more mineral and ferrous. Full figured, there’s lovely freshness, slinky, succulent dark-berry fruit and well-placed tannins: one of the strongest wines from this producer to date
Rated 94/100 The Wine Enthusiast
2024 Chateau Carbonneau Les Deux Freres Bordeaux Rouge...$16.99
70% Malbec and 30% Cabernet Franc
Organic (since 2022), Biodynamic (Demeter, since 2023)
Co-fermentation of malbec and cabernet franc as both varietals ripen at the same time
Light red in color. On the nose, pepper, blackcurrant and fresh fruit on the nose. Light structure, nice acidity & freshness and soft tannins. Nice, long finish. This malbec-dominant wine is on the leaner side, and thus pairs well with pizza, pasta, risotto and is also the perfect summer BBQ companion.
