A new one!!!
Dansk Mjod Viking Runes Mead...$27.99 / 750ml
Runes played an important part during the Viking age. Letters of the Furthark (runic alphabet) were engraved in stones at Viking settlements in Scandinavia and abroad to tell about their warriors excursions and achievements. Fehu (rune on the bottom of brand label) for example stands for “WEALTH”. The runic compass “Vegvisir” helped the Vikings to navigate through their extensive travels. When drinking mead, you are drinking 5000 years of preserved history. Dansk Mjod is based upon a recipe from about year 1700. The ingredients are pure and 100 % natural – guaranteed free from additives. Honey is the major and most important ingredient in the recipe.
Viking Runes Kirsebær Edition - 19% ABV - gets its stunning deep red color, slightly spicy and temperamental aftertaste and depth from the addition of Sour Cherries and Tasmanian Pepperberries. Viking Runes pairs well with sweet cuisine as a dessert wine – and is particularly good with dark chocolate and rich desserts. Or enjoy it chilled on a warm night, straight or topped with demi-sec sparkling wine.
Dansk Mjod Odin's Skull Nordic Honey Wine..$27.99 / 750ml
19% ABV
Nordic Honey Wine with sour apple juice hops and cinnamon added
Odin, one-eyed and long-bearded, often carrying a spear, might be the most complex and revered God in Norse mythology. His name is associated with knowledge, victory, healing, wisdom but also death and sorcery
This brew is intended to honor Odin’s name: “Master of inspiration and fury”. As Odin’s Skull is brewed with 100% natural , completely unfiltered apple juice there may be yeast sediment at the bottom of the bottle.
Dansk Mjod Viking Blod Mead....$27.99 / 750ml
What the Vikings drank when they returned after each “season” to their homeland with tales of adventure, treasure, and goods! Dangerous seafarers and savage warriors that raided many villages and cities on their foreign expeditions. Viking Blod is brewed and fermented in the historic Scandinavian home of Vikings : Country of Denmark. Using honey, hops, and hibiscus, following a recipe that was found in the 1700s. Honey and hops create it's indestructible nature- you can leave it open on your shelf for years with no effect! Hibiscus gives the liquid it's blood like red tint so reminiscent of the Viking’s bloody trails. The nose is floral and citrusy and the flavor and body is strong, with a measured sweetness, finishing dry. Drink it straight, or do what the vikings did- mix it with anything you like . And serve it properly ! {Viking’s served it in empty skulls}
Dansk Mjod Klapojster Mjod....$27.99 / 750ml
Klapøjster Mjød is just like our other mead based on honey and water, but with inspiration from a Danish tradition, we have mixed this mead with snaps.
This makes Klapøjster Mjød stronger than the traditional mead and get an aftertaste of snaps, but still retains mead sweetness and rich characteristics.
Content: Honey, water, hops and snaps which increases the alc. to 21,8% vol.
Dansk Mjod GL Mead...$27.99 / 750ml
A metheglin style mead with Ginger & Hops. Big notes of ginger in the nose. On the palate, ginger meets honey with a dryish-hoppy finish. Very warming.
