Press release from Still630
Rally Point Wine Cask!
120.92 Proof
Uncut, Unfiltered
This exceptional whiskey is our very first wine barrel finish. Thanks to The Wine & Cheese Place, we used a Chambourcin wine barrel from Mt. Pleasant winery to finish our flagship RallyPoint Rye Whiskey. The judges at the 2017 American Craft Spirits Awards gave it a Bronze medal for excellence!

The wine barrel’s tannic, grape notes, akin to those often found in the best scotches, blended with the spicy rye flavors to create an intriguing whiskey with a pleasing oak backbone. We wanted to showcase the incredible flavor so we left it uncut and unfiltered at a bold 120.92 proof.

This is an extremely limited release. Only 228 precious bottles were produced. They will be offered exclusively at The Wine & Cheese Place and at our distillery. The release event happens March 24th in a two-part event.

Part 1: Tasting at The Wine & Cheese Place (both their Forsyth and New Ballas locations) from 4-6pm March 24th. Followed by:

Part 2: Release After Party at the distillery. 7-10pm March 24th. Special cocktail and flight tastings.

No RSVP necessary, so come out to enjoy this incredible whiskey and savor the fusion of Missouri whiskey and wine! Cheers! - Still 630

The award winning Still 630 Rally Point Rye finished in a Mount Pleasant Chambourcin Barrel.  We have been tasting this one every few weeks for months now and enjoying the development.  We decided it was ready to bottle and bottled it at cask strength (120.92 proof)!
We think you will really enjoy it.

If I'm not able to make the tasting. I planned on it, but something came up. I have a friend taste it, he absolutely loved it. Will it be available for people who can't make it tonight? Will it go the the clubs?

Thank you, I got my hands on one. WOW!! It's really good. I really think Still 630 is right up there with HighWest distiller when it comes to blending and finishing whiskeys.
