Old Bacelot, on Grenada's south coast, was the first area on the island to be cultivated by the French. Here, on the plain located between two small rivers, grows the Cain variety of sugarcane. This white rum is made from pure sugarcane juice, distilled in a Forsyths still after a long fermentation of 195 hours at a controllable temperature. It has a congeners content at the time of distillation of 328.1 gr/hlpa, of which 127.9 gr/hlpa are esters
