Pont Neuf Wines!

Amazing new vintages from Pont Neuf!

2022 Pont Neuf "Le Pont Neuf" Chardonnay....$79.99
Suggested retail $90

"A handsome wine, always rich and assertive, Le Pont Neuf evolves slowly in the bottle with new aromas and flavors emerging as the young wine develops. The tasting experience is one of energy and movement where a subtle hint of one aroma is replaced by one after another as it evolves in the glass. White peaches, Meyer Lemon, and citrus blossom aromas are accompanied by a pliant and luxurious mouthfeel. A fine thread of minerality runs through this wine, giving structure and making it fit to age for at least a decade. Le Pont Neuf is a wine that leads to inspired cooking. In Burgundy, we would opt for a creamy lemon and thyme-scented, roast pork or fine recipes of meatier, flavorful fish. Drink now - 2035. 70 cases produced." - Wine Maker
The 2022 Le Pont Neuf is a bold and nuanced Chardonnay. Made from plant material sourced from Le Montrachet....The vines sit above above Occidental on the remote Sonoma Coast. This secluded, two-acre site surrounded by pines was planted in 2002. Hawks fly overhead and you sense the ocean nearby. The terroir has an undeniable presence. A favorable blend of influences of the cold Pacific fog and warm afternoon sun produces a wine of precision and fine balance.

2023 Pont Neuf "Pont Royal" Chardonnay....$64.99
Suggested retail $75
The Pont Royal remains the freshest and liveliest of our chardonnays yet still has a remarkable ability to age gracefully. The chardonnay clones were sourced from Corton Charlemagne and this wine shows finely delineated aromatics of lemon peel, linden flower, with just a suggestion of wildflower honey that emerges with a couple of years in the bottle. Raised in 50% new French oak, with natural barrel fermentation, we remain firmly tied to our Burgundian roots with native yeast fermentation with aging on the lees for 15 months. Three barrels were produced at low yields from the same Russian River Vineyards from which we have been harvesting since 2010. Only 70 cases made
